I am thoroughly disappointed with this Holster. The kydex is fine, the finish is fine, the weapon retention is positive and fits well..... however the fit is another story. The "designers" seemingly did not actually test it on a belt with a real pistol. My standard gun belt does not fit through the the belt loop (see the picture). I mean there is ZERO clearance for a belt. The way I see it a Holster has one function... To securely hold a pistol to your body. That presupposes that you can actually attach it to your body. Pro tip.... If the Holster is not one I would wear, I will not keep it, or recommend it. I have thrown this one into the trash.

They Best Kydex Holster made in AMERICA. Hands down Outlaw Holsters make the superior option. They are comfortable, come in many different styles and colors. (The rainbow carbon fiber isn’t from them, I dipped that myself, but the holster is An Outlaw.) I don’t conceal carry or open carry with any other holster because I simply don’t trust other brands. If your looking for reliability, comfort, and a company that backs their product Outlaw is the only way to go...period. I’ve tried other brands and there is no comparison.I do recommend ordering with just the 1.5 inch belt loops which Should come standard on all their models. Plus is makes your side arm more secure when running, jumping, traveling, etc. the speed clips and paddle option are great choices but don’t work for everyone. Ever user is going to have a different opinion.If you don’t see your holster listed you can call them directly and see if they can accommodate you with a custom holster for your side arm. I’ve took my other two holsters and ran them through hell and back and they still look brand new like the day I bought them.I’m a repeat Paying customer because I firmly believe in their product. $45 for a kydex is a decent price. As long as Outlaw keeps making holsters I will be a buying from you for the rest of my life. Thank you for my latest OD green model for my Shield 9mm. I get compliments on it frequently.

Quality of materials seems solid.Does not have any retention. No solid "click" sound when inserting my firearm into this holster. Has more of a dull, hollow click and will not support a loaded firearm when turned upside down and lightly jostled.This is not one I'd trust in public or a class, but I will probably keep it for around the house.*** I'm a firearms instructor and have used / own several types and manufacturers of holsters. This isn't anywhere near the worst, but I won't be ordering anything else from them. I needed this for a class in a few days and couldn't wait to get a name brand.

pros-My shield snaps right in, great fit.- Good retention, I have seen many here say the one they received had horrible retention, But mine is great, Shield 9mm Snaps in and stays, I held it upside down and tried to shake the gun out but it did not budge.-Light weight and nice conture against the hip.- Looks nice-Has belt loops for very secure attachment.Cons- From the pros above, Has belt loops so you have to undo your belt to attach or remove, I would prefer clips, but I am sure clips are available fo purchase for this item so that is nice.- no partition/barrier between the portion of gun not inside the holster and your skin. So you sweat on the gun and the safety on my shield often digs into my side when seated or bending over to pick things up. No issue standing and walking. If only this holster had a leather or neoprene extension on the inside. wearing a tucked in shirt then another shirt over that wiuld make it more comfortable but layering shirts in the california heat is not an option. I have a great inside the waistband holster that is very comfortable, even more than this owb holster but is not too comfortable when I go hiking the mountain trails. I wanted an outside the waistband holster for my hikes thinking it would be much more comfortable, Now not sure, I will report back after I take it on a hike. But for normal EDC I prefer my more comfortable "ultra carry" IWB holster from precisionholsters. But on the trail with all the hills and climbing over fallen trees, the tuip of the IWB begins to dig into my ftont hip area. I know this OWB holster will eliminate that issue but now I am worried about the slide and safety of my gun rubbing against my skin on a long sweaty hike. I may end up having to go with something else or modifying this holster on my own. I will report back.

Got this hoster for PT111 G2The good points1. Retention is good easy in easy out no issues with snatching your belt up to your chest during draw.2. Molding is good not great but better than many I've seen.3. Good tight fit to the body great for OWB concealed carry under an untucked polo or button up shirt.4. Not floppy, no rattles, does not sag like fabric pancake holsters.Bad points.1. The outside shell kydex is white and the graphic is silk screened that's fine but the edges are not dressed or colored in any way, so when I look down I see the white top edge sticking out like a sore thumb I find it annoying but it's not a deal breaker I can dress it up with a paint marker.2. When it arrived it had a small scratch in the graphic again the white plastic showing through and again I will fix it rather than return it.Overall I would recommend this holster like I said it's good for the money being about 30 dollars less than most.
