Riders looking to add power to their existing Ultegra 6800 crank need only select length, as the Stages Power meter fits all styles of Ultegra 6800 crank set, including: compact and standard. For those riders needing a complete crank set solution we offer the same non-drive Stages Power meter mated to either a FC6800 standard (39/53-tooth), mid-compact (36/52t), and compact (34/50-tooth) drive-side crank. Bottom bracket not included.

Not a good option to spend your money
This is a disappointment. Bought this power meter and the battery is lasting just one ride. The meter is draining the battery and the Stages support is saying that this can be caused by moist entering on the crank arm. I never used the meter in wet conditions and it never ever got closer to water. Latest firmware is installed and the meter is still draining the batter with one ride only. Do not buy this power meter, invest your money in something more trustable.

Good first-time power meter
I got a stages L only a few years ago when getting more into cycling. Part of the choice was the price, which was significantly less than almost all other competitors. For someone who never rode with power before, it completely changed how I rode hard efforts and particularly helped pace climbs. I ended up cutting lots of time off simply by smoothing out my efforts, rather than wasting energy in the first 30-60 seconds because it didn't fell hard (like sprinting the beginning of a running race). I also liked that I could travel with this piece. When I planned on renting a bike on a trip and usually would have brought clothes, helmet, and pedals, I just took the left crank as well and the bike shops always were willing to swap it out for me. It's not as good as pedal based power meters in that sense, but it's also half the price.
