My iLap Case

I have only used this a few times but love it. I have a kindle fire which is a little small for it but I can still use it. Nice to have on your lap while using the kindle in an upright position.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!It is poorly made and completely worthless. Tipped slghtly and the tablet slides out. A hinge broke in the first 2 days. There is a latch to hold it closed when carried which doesn't work. It will disengage and dump the tablet on the ground.I believe there phony reviews written to entice people into buy junk and there are those here. Save your money!

The ilap case is perfect for carrying around and protecting your ipad. My only problem with the case is that when it arrived, there was a large circular indentation in the outside cover. The indentation penetrated through the thick piece of foam underneath the cover which seemed to have left an almost permanent indentation in the top part of the case. It also seemed as though something extremely heavy sat on top of the case for a long time before the case was packaged for shipment as the indentation has remained indented instead of the underneath foam puffing back up into its original shape. I was getting ready to leave for vacation and had ordered the case to take the ipad with me so I didn't have time to notify or put in a complaint to Amazon prior to leaving on vacation. I don't think this is very acceptable especially paying full price for this item when it was supposed to be NEW in all aspects.

The product quality was just OK. A little cheaper materials than I had expected but still OK. However, I found the bottom "foot" adjustment where the tablet would sit to be really stiff to move. I had originally purchased for my dad who is in his late 70's and I know he would not be able to move this foot without hurting one of his fingers. I did like the idea of the zippered storage area which is why I purchased it. However, the front inside of the zippered pocket didn't have much padding so I worried about this harming the face of the tablet.But the final issue, which really made me not like this, is that I was charged $24.99 for this item and when I took it out of the case, there was a price tag on the front of it for $5.99!!!! That is probably closer to the price that should have been charged for this item.It would work for general usage and be a help in transporting the tablet but wasn't exactly going to work the way I had hoped so I returned.

I bought this for use with my Nexus 10, not for an iPad. The top plastic surface measures about 14" by 10", with a 9.5" space between the clip at the top and the flip out ledge at the bottom. The Nexus 10 measures about 10.5" x 7", so it fits horizontally or vertically on the ledge. The clip can't be used with the Nexus in either orientation, but I don't see that as a problem. There is also room for a stylus to rest on the ledge, although it's easy to accidentally touch the Home, Back or Recent apps buttons when picking up the stylus.The various angle adjustments for the top surface seem to be sufficient. At first I wasn't sure the strut fit into the slots well enough, but so far, there has been no slippage. The top surface is not slippery, so the Nexus stays in place well.The foam is very light, so it doesn't seem like the case will be too hot during the summer. The foam is not so light that the case feels unstable on my lap. The foam is only 1-2" thick, and I wanted it thicker, so I added another piece of foam in the zippered pocket. There is still plenty of room to store the Nexus in that pocket for traveling, or I just stick the Nexus under the top surface to carry it short distances.This case fulfills my needs at a reasonable price.

Finally a lap desk for the ipad that really works!! I've been through 5-6 lap desk/ipad stands and most all of them are junk. Or even if they are OK for lap desk use, they are rotten for holding the ipad. This has a moveable / repositional tray that doesn't flop down every 10 seconds. Plus it is deep enough to bring the ipad a little closer to your eyes. It is expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. In this case, for something that works! Be aware it is small, not much wider than the ipad held horizontally. If I were buying another one, I'd spend a few more bucks and get the one with storage pocket in the middle.

The worset wrapping and horribly used sticky mess that I have ever ordered.I asked for a refund but never heard back.

No well put together, they could use some weight to it and make it more stable. Already broke.
