Fills me with hope for the future
I found Vizi's book through his Instagram account, where he was sharing rhetoric, thought provoking excerpts and philosophy.Vizi's book feels and reads like an introduction to critical thinking, philosophy, challenging maxims and challenging mainstream thinking. I myself have taken a deep dive into in philosophy, which I see pops up in Vizi's writing. Philosophy (in broad strokes) is how about how to act in life, not just how to think. In this day and age where the most accessible information is internalized, books like Economy of Truth tip the balance back in our favor. It's often hard for younger people to access information on the basics of introspection and the fundamental streams of reasoning. As is clear in society today that being taught on how to think doesn't necessarily top as the major priority in (most, if not all) educational systems.I find great hope in Vizi's writings, to see someone of my generation write such work and perpetuate a pure intent to develop introspection and critical thinking. Many in generation (and the previous ones) have (from personal experience) not been “authorized” introspection. When I think about what lies at the basis of being a good human being, introspection and awareness seem to rise to the surface. The ability and drive to look at your own values, your own thinking and your own behavior is paramount to be a good human being, if not that: at least a decent societal member. People are often afraid to be confronted with the things inside themselves and thus shy away from introspection. By the structure of Vizi's book along side with powerful maxims, you are invited to look inside yourself. The book is highly enjoyable, has lots to offer and digest. To me personally it marks a return to the widespread use of philosophy as a tool to help us navigate life. To have been (in simple terms) authorized to think differently and allowed to make your notions.I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who's looking to add a little bit more direction and mental support (medicine even) in their life.

Best Book of Maxims/Aphorisms/Reflections I read
Vizi is a great writer and artist.Bought this as soon as I saw it became #1 in Meditation and Philosophy (Kindle) on Amazon.I read many books of maxims and aphorisms, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this one is the best I read. I expected it to be decent, but it's really good. Both profound and practical. It was witty and playful. This book is full of clever artwork. Many maxims are thus illustrated, incorporated within the artwork. It has a few short essays but the style is still aphoristic.I noticed 1 odd review that said that the book is 1/3 blank pages. There's 'Take Notes' Section that now only has 10 pages. The book has 190 pages. That's not 1/3.To end this review, this book is very readable, intriguing, profound, and applicable to everything in life.I highly recommend it! You should read it at least twice.

Long story short. It was concise and critical no bs
It made me self reflect on my daily habits and thoughts. It was simple and straight to the point unlike others where they ramble on for ages to get to a point and by that time my brain is on autopilot. i think it was precisely this that allowed me to concentrate for short bursts for it to deeply seep through my mindI read lots of insightful quotes and sometimes they only make sense when you click, connecting ideas to books and references in ones knowledge base. Your book was similar yet better because the background knowledge was provided to guide the readers

Must read
Found a quote of this book on Instagram and bought this book very shortly after. The author explains to take your time reading this as he has written in a way that makes you want to stop and mentally think about what you have just read. I’m not a big reader and I am trying to challenge my mind with reading more non fiction information. Absolutely LOVED this book. If I could rate it higher then a 5 star I would. Refreshing to read, and really broadens the mind. He says ‘it’s not what you know and how much you know but more so how we filter that knowledge and take parts from what we have seen/ heard and use that for our own lives.’ It’s a book I will read again and again. Thank you

A pinch of perspective
I have been following Vizi Andrei on social media for some time now. The quality and consistency of his content gave me no choice but to purchase this book immediately as it was published. Economy of truth is a reflection of Vizi's hopes and dreams for the morally-bankrupt and euphemistic culture many of us find in today's society. I highly recommend this read to all free-thinkers, stoic minds, personal-development seekers, open-minded learners, and most of all the millennial/younger generations of which I belong to. A bed-side table read, coffee table read, office lunch break read, or even campfire read... whenever you want to stimulate productive thought by yourself or within the company you keep.

amazing book
This book is a very satiafying read. The structure of the book is one of the best parts of it, Vizi keeps it concise wanting you to explore deeper into the meaning of his work through your own interpretations. 5/5 every time.

Cliche generalizations
When I bought this book, I had high hopes for it. And in fact, I like a lot of its material. But then the author goes into the realm of generalizations ("lawyers are bad.") C'mon, really? How could that be a truth? What is worse, the author goes to lengths in explaining some of his truisms, but then stops radically short when presenting others (for example, about equality.)Again, seriously? One cannot take one position and goes to great lengths to explain it and then take another one (one that inevitably courts controversy) and leave it as-is, without further elaboration.Either a book about truth goes to the same lengths in justifying/elaborating all points it makes (as much as possible) or it falls into the realm of intellectual dishonesty. This book had a lot of potential, if the author could exhibit some intellectual honesty and avoid cliched generalizations. Alas, that was not meant to happen I guess.

Worth its price.
Insightful, a few times I came across passages that appeared to be almost as if the words were my own. Generally I try to avoid modern day philosophy as there is a lot of people peddling none organic ideas repackaged as organic. This is not that. Many times you get a sense of what the author was facing when coming to their maxims.Good read, I would recommend trying it out and seeing what comes back after some reflection and solitude.Great work Vizi.

This book will make you question conventional wisdom and common sense...
One of the best books I have ever read. If you plan to read it be ready to challenge your ingrained paradigms about what is true, what is good and what is practical. Totally worth the read. This is an investment in your intellectual development.

Simply brilliant!
Our modern society should consider "Economy Of Truth" and other thought-provoking literature as an obligation in terms of general education from the early age . Even though we live in a civilized and highly developed world, we often are not able to find our true self. This book equips you with a map to find your individual path to a free, meaningful and happy live and forces you to question areas of life which are questioned rarely or not at all. And it does it for the good of all! The book helps you to reflect and understand life and encourages you to to act and think outside of the box. A fantastic book which should belong into the repertoire of every person.

Beautiful work
The points are precise and right on the dot. It is not a book that you can read quickly and then forget about, but rather you need to take it all in slowly. Makes you think and understand some very basic things that we tend to forget. Overall, a great read.
