Somebody at JD Fisk is completely crazy!! The price of these shoes is astoundingly low. Do they know they're giving their product away?Come to think of it, maybe I should buy a few more of these and THEN alert them to what's going on. Hopefully they won't read this.I ordered the black version for $19.99 and held my breath to receive it - thinking it was going to be awful. It is soooo not. I still cannot understand how this quality can be sold at these prices.Fit & comfortExactly as expected. I ordered size 11 and it fit exactly as all my other size 11s. For comfort, lets remember that this is an oxford. It does have firm areas which give its shape and rigidity. For those buying this as an upgrade from loafers you will find it more firm (as you would for any quality oxford). But for office-types like myself who are accustomed to wearing oxfords this shoe will be fine for all day wear.Build qualityThe leather lining is supple and rich. I uploaded a photo which I hope conveys how rich. The insole is deep and cushy. The outsole is smooth and true. The tooling and overall finish are top notch.SoleI see a number of reviews arguing whether the sole is or isn't leather. I am now satisfied that it is NOT leather. It is a very dense, very thick synthetic rubber that I suspect will wear very well over time. It is extremely hard and I can see how, even some purchasers, could mistake it for leather, but it isn't. Again, that's not an issue for me. I believe it will hold up well over the years.ColorOne thing to point out that you won't see from the pictures: These shoes are not completely black!! It is a deep grey, maybe slate. Only the heel and toe are fully black. But, as in the pictures on Amazon this can definitely pass as black. It's not an issue for me - it's actually a bonus for me as it gives me options. It makes the shoe slightly different from my other black shoes. Note that the difference in shade is only very slight - definitely not a two-tone - merely a very deep grey misted with black at the heel and toes. Beautiful effect!! I imagine if you wanted it all black then dye or shoe polish would be an easy solution - but it's fine for me. In fact, I think I'll use neutral polish (rather than black) in order to keep the effect. Most of your shoe's admirers won't even notice it - and believe me you will have plenty of admirers when wearing these.ValueIt is a bit crazy to be commenting on value after owning this shoe for such a short period. So I admit that I cannot speak about durability but the build quality, style and finish place the value of this shoe in the $90-$120 range.CONCLUSIONAwesome purchase! Don't hesitate.

Nice, quality shoe. Not the most comfortable but I'm still breaking them in. I really like how they are a little different/unique looking. Even more in person.

These were cheap enough to buy on a whim, and enjoy having some green colored shoes. But, they're not that comfortable, the perforations don't look that good, and the laces don't close evenly.But they're still fun to have for shoes you wear occasionally. Can't wear green shoes everyday! Or can you?

Snatched up what I thought was a really good buy on a pair of dress JD Fisk dress oxfords. First, I was real disappointed to see the MADE IN CHINA stamp inside, because I seem to recall this brand used to be made in Italy? Second, there was a substantial amount of glue that had seeped out from under the footbed leaving a sticky residue all over the inside. Loved the look of the shoes so that's why 2 stars instead of 1, but they went back for a refund because of the defect.

Nice dress oxfords can be worn without break in. It fits as expected and it has nice subtle details.

On time delivery. Great shoe. Great fit. Great price. Leather sole! Slightly dull in its shine but that's not much of an issue and not represented to be any different than what I received.

Shoe is a little uncomfortable in the heel , and the color (green) is very pale looking more like black ...they style is nice that why I gave it 3 star
