Phil & Ted's Navigator Storm Cover

This review is based on using the cover on an Explorer with doubles kit.What the cover does well:- keeps rain/wind from the main seat.- seems well-stitched and durable with thick plastic panels.What the cover does not do so well:- lets some rain get into the second/rear seat. The cover is short, at least on Explorer (see photo) so it doesn't reach the bottom of the basket, leaving gaps. Especially when you have windy and rainy conditions, the rain gets into the basket and feet area. In addition, the cover is a tight fit, so that near the handles, there is a gap on each side (see photo), which also lets rain in and drips into the seating area.- the thick plastic, while durable, maintains all the creases and wrinkles so it results in distorted views.Overall, this cover minimally does the job, and without other choices for this stroller, I reluctantly recommend it. However, for the price and brand, it seems poorly designed. For example, the cover could have easily been made a little longer/taller so that it could do a better job of covering the basket area. Also, instead of having only velcro straps to secure the cover to the front of stroller, it would have been nice to also have hooks/clips to secure the front end (like the cover for the Baby Jogger City Mini) especially when you are trying to put on cover when it's really wet and cold out.

This works great and living in Seattle we have plenty of occasions to use our stroller cover. It's made of really durable plastic and it attaches at all the right points to keep it in place. I also like the velcro side closures in the back which makes access to the second seat really easy.The only drawback is that it's not very easy to fold back up small enough to fit back in it's pouch. You have to spread it out and fold it just so, which is fine when you're at home, but if you're out and about it can get tricky. But you can just ball it up and stick it in the undercarriage storage and fold it when you get home.

Rain covers like this are common in the UK (my home country) I've used Phil and Ted's stuff since my older kids (14, 12) and love it. This is no exception, perfect fit, easy to put on, kids are comfy and dry. People here seem really impressed with it and I haven't seen anyone else with a rain cover. So, you can be the odd one out with your kids dry in the rain too, if you purchase this.

Why do companies put things in the tiniest bag and think that you will be able to reuse it as the added Velcro straps insist you should be able to? I will never be able to get this folded anywhere near small enough to put it back. Which is annoying as it takes up a ton of space in the limited space of the stroller undercarriage.That being said, it is a great product and works well. I even used with my daughter on the front in the extra seat.

This fits our phil&teds double sport perfectly. I only wish it attached to the frame somehow so when you need to pull it up after the rain, it doesn't slide off the stroller. It's also not super easy to fold up. It keeps the rain out and our kids dry though.

This is thick, soft plastic, not like the thinner cheaper cover we have for our carseat. It drapes well over the double stroller, and it is very well made. The only con is that it does not cover the handle of the stroller. I have seen other large rain covers that cover the parent's hands when they are pushing it. I wish it was longer in the back to cover my hands when it is raining. Oh well.

I have the Explorer stroller which they stopped selling a couple years ago. I borrowed an older version double navigator cover from a friend for a trip and it was awesome on my stroller. I was disappointed with how this version fit. I think my sun shade must be longer than the navigator.

We decided to get this last minute for a day at Disneyland that turned out to be rainy... This was perfect, our 5 month old and 3 year old stayed nice and dry and so did the stroller and all our belongings. This is a nice and thick plastic, not flimsy.

I bought this as i thought it was a good price for a genuine phil and teds rain cover however when it arrived it was a generic cover. I didn't open it or test it so can't give a rating based on the product as I was after a genuine phil and teds rain cover so am returning it. I purchased it through Baby Travel Limited

Guter,stabieler Regenschutz für Phil&Teds Navigator.Wie lange er hält,kann ich noch nicht sagen.Aber er ist ordentlich verpackt und in Ordnung geliefert worden.Leider fehlen seitlich diese kleinen Zikulationslöcher,die ich bei einem älteren Modell noch hatte.Die wären schon notwendig,finde ich.Ich mache mir mit einem Locher selber welche hinein.Kein Problem !

Love it!! Fits Phil and ted perfectly. It’s so nice that it don’t blow or move much when it’s seals down keeps the kids dry. A wee bit pricey but that’s it.

Fits my navigator perfectly. Took awhile to get here as it was coming from overseas but got a prompt response when I emailed to inquire. Perfect for getting out walking and keeping the kids out of the rain and wind especially on cold winter days. Love it. Seems to be good quality also.
