Great addition to outdoor kit
This thing is great. Works as a head cover, neck scarf and sweat rag. The material is very soft so it will not irritate skin.

Excellent Cotton Veil
Ok so if there are other nerds on here looking for an affordable 1980's style British veil scarf for their impression, this will do. Soft, looks like the old ones, no gross smell. Comfy and breathable. It'll do its job and looks cool too.

Color closely matches picture.
Coyote brown closely matches picture. Well made. I'd recommend.

Is a quality product
I use this hunting and keep one in an evacuation bag for sun protection and sweat absorption. Works great, ordered for my Marine son and he used it on deployments (2). Next to his woobie, he said it worked great.

What a handy piece of gear
Weighs nothing. Is cool in the summer. Got a lot of use Crow,Turkey, Deer, Coyote and Fox hunting. Gets cold roll it up and wear it as a neckerchief.Bought one for Hunting Buddy for Christmas.

Shhh, I'm hiding.
I tossed it in the wash, so it doesn't smell funny and isn't scratchy. Now you can't see me. Well, my top half, anyway. Maybe if my knees still worked without making sounds like a .308 I could lay down in the tall grass or something. Betcha this would make a nice pillow. Leave me alone.

A great multipurpose gear
For starters I'm not a sniper and don't have a huge collection of tactical gear. With that said, as an outdoorsman, I love this thing. It showed up quick. Although it only has a seam on one side it has stayed together well. Out here we have a lot of desert and a lot of heat so I sweat a lot. Which is relevant because when I wash the funk out of this thing it bleeds dye. However, I've washed it a few times and it hasn't faded much. When I'm hiking in the summer I often use it to help keep the sun off me. In dry California heat sometimes its also nice to put some water on it and wrap it around your neck to keep you cool. Now as far as a Secret Squirrel sniper veil, I'm sure it'd do the job well. I have brought it turkey hunting to help break up my profile in heavier foliage and in lighter brush while shooting where it's been effective as far as making me harder to spot. Sniper approved? I'll leave that up to the pros (or keyboard warriors). Sportsman approved? Definitely.I have recommended this product to friends and I own a few.UPDATE: A new Veil I just purchased last week is actually stitched on all sides. So that's actually pretty cool. Bonus points for that.

The stitching has holes that are quite big.
Good material, and can be weighted with likewise material to enable ot lessen swaying if needed.

Good stuff.
The media could not be loaded. I love the quality. But, I will handwash it first to get rid of the smell.

NOT coyote brown (too red)
CON: Colour appears to have red tone and is NOT coyote brownCON: Mesh is hard to se through vs other veilsPRO: Well constructed and softThe colour is not coyote brown and does appear to have more of a red tone to it. I do not think this colour is usable for hunting or for camouflage without having to re dye the material. The material and construction appear fine. If you are using this as a veil, the size of the mesh is quite small and not easily seen through compared to other veils I have used. Bottom line is that the colour is way off and hard to see through as a veil. I attached a photo of woodland marpat for comparison which is predominantly coyote brown. The colour does appear to be earthier in the photo then it does in person. I also purchase coyote tan which may be a better option and is more tan / lighter in appearance compared to REAL coyote brown. Hope this helps.
