It works
It fits into the plane properly and works so I gave it five stars. But... if you do ever need to install it you might want to watch some videos online. It's not particularly difficult but it requires cutting the tape to remove the top half of the airplane. Then you have to cut and pry the old gearbox out while trying to minimize damage to the airplane. And of course all the pieces are rather small so even getting a grip on the gearbox can be difficult for larger hands.

Authentic hobby zone parts, got my sport cub back in the air
Fit perfectly, motor slid right in and it was easy to glue down. Perfect one-to-one replacement

Works well and fixed problem with noise; why is it such an issue?
It's kind of annoying that this is the second time I've replaced this part. It's not caused by the axle or the bushings either, I've tried replacing them alone and it didn't fix my issue. Honestly I have no idea what caused the sound from the gearbox besides the fact that it was vibrating at low rpm, despite having good bushings and an in-true axle.

Didn't work with the sport cub s replacement motor
Didn't work properly when i bought it with a new motor. It just makes a grinding and squeaking noise and lacks the power that the old motor for my sport cub s came with, so now i cant fly my plane after replacing the old motor.
