These are a very healthy preservative free treat that my past dogs and current dog loves.

Healthy treats for dogs smell great aswell

This review is for the seller "Fat Happy Pets" Not the product, which my dog loves. The treats that just arrived were outdated. They reeked of a stale plastic sickening smell. I could not smell it without gagging. I would never feed these to my sick dog! The bag looks old and has obviously been sitting on the back shelf in a hot warehouse and it horrible in appearance and odor. Amazon was kind enough to refund my money and I will buy from my previous seller SDN Retail.

I first heard about this treat when my elderly schnauzer was in his last months of fighting cancer and he had almost no appetite from a vet tech friend of mine. They are very healthy snacks and not full of the questionalbe things so many others have. As soon as I offered one to my little guy, his eyes lit up and he ate two of them! From then on, I broke up a treat and mixed it in with his dog food and he actually ate some of it. To me, that said it all. Oh, the sweet potato ones are very good also. That dog and the rescue girl I now have both love them as well.

This was a gift for my Dad's dog. They came all crumbled in the bag which was very disappointing.

My dog loves these, but I have to break them in half. He has a problem with really dry treats getting stuck in his jowls. He is an English Bulldog. As long as I make these small enough I don't have that problem. If you have kids I would keep them out of reach or they will go for them because they smell yummy.

Both dogs love it! This is one of their favorite snacks (they have a snack bar of assorted containers of treats) and it's good for older dogs (our Sam had several teeth extracted due to neglect by his prior owner) and he cannot eat hard jerky or bones. Sam is a 90 pound Golden Lab (and few teeth) and Melvin is a 29 pound Chihuahua Pug Terrier with an insatiable appetite and a gut to mathc.How much do they love these treats? They love it so much, their vet put them on a diet after they weighed in and both are officially overweight. We are rationing the treats and giving them more belly rubs - but suspect that they prefer the treats.These smell like people food so make sure you don't leave it out - one our guests was about to help themself to the crunchers!
