Used these on our greenhouse to hold the plastic sheeting in place. The gromets held up longer than the sheeting so I ordered more.

I needed a plastic gromment for a boat cover. These work well. Install using a 1/2 inch steel hole punch and a block of wood. Use a hammer, or better yet, a big hammer (4lb). Caution: The caps will crak easily if hit to hard, so just use a gentle tap to install (or perhaps some channel lock pliers and jusr press together)..

Very easy to use on the standard green shade cloth I have, but I broke half the collars that seat on the protruding part of the pair. And half the grommets did not hold. I learned to ignore the instructions. To make them work, use the protruding part to find where you want the grommet, pull the shade cloth tight over the hole and make a small cut in the part over the hole. Now force the protrusion through the little hole you cut in the shade cloth. Make sure no cloth is on the seating ring, then use a hammer to tap the collar into place. Best the grommet is on very flat, smooth surface when you tap into place, and that it is not a very cold surface.

I recently purchased this item to provide shade to a metal arbor that we bought years ago. I threaded the fabric up and over the metal bars across the top of the arbor and draped the excess fabric down each side. I added three plastic rivets to the bottom on each side and secured the shade fabric to the arbor with zipties. The difference in temperature was immediately apparent, and I was sold on the fabric doing its cooling job. Kansas gets a lot of wind and a lot of storms, so I was curious if it would hold up. Over the past three days, we've had strong storms with 60mph winds and over 6" of rain. The wind actually blew the metal arbor with two attached metal benches over. When we got the arbor set back up today, the shade fabric had held up beautifully. No rips or tears. The solar lights attached to the arbor frame had ripped apart during the storm, but the shade fabric held. Super impressed with the durability of this product, including the plastic rivets that were easy to install and held up to the fury of the storms.

Están demasiado frágiles ya que el plástico no es tan duro. Según instrucciones se debe martillar para embonar pero los dos primeros se rompieron y el tercero se abrió al meter la cuerda. No los puedo recomendar.
