This has been great to keep out Dobie girl super warm during the winter. She actually get upset when I take it off to wash it!! She is a mess!

The media could not be loaded.  I needed a lightweight, water (mud) repellant coat for playing fetch in the yard - my dog has a big ball she shakes violently which coats her neck and front half with mud.She is a Whippet, about 30lbs. It is short and doesn’t fully cover her butt but for my purposes this is fine. I did take in the neck, removing about an inch, removed the elastic cord, and cut out the leg straps.This is a very light weight coat, but since I wanted more of a mud protection, this is great.The fit is very true to size per the chart - I had no issues getting this to fit as expected. As I said for a skinny necked dog you may have to tailor the fleece collar. I also decided to sew shut the zipper as it does open as she runs. Possible that on walks it would stay shut but when running hard it unzips.I am happy with the purchase - it is exactly what I wanted.

The SlowTon Winter Dog Coat has a optional turtleneck scarf and leg elastic straps, if you want to use them or not - these are nice features. I really like this coat for my long-bodied-dachshund because it is a good length (other dog coats have been too short). The snaps are very good as they stay snapped and secure when my dachshund has it on during her walks. Be careful though not to pull to hard to unsnap the coat, you don't want to pull the snap from the material (as the I mentioned the snaps are very secure when snapped). I feel the coat is a fair price especially for the options it has and the good material used.

My doberman is 92 pounds and is wearing the XL. The fit is pretty good. The zipper in front has to stay unzipped bc his chest is too big, but it doesn't seem to bother him or take away from the purpose of the coat.

My dog (78 lb Doberman) is not a large dog. I first ordered a "medium" size but it was way too small. I carefully measured him and compared to measurements of various sizes on the vendor's size chart. I ordered an "extra large" and it fits him OK. The strap around his chest is long enough (Dobermans have big chests compared to their overall size and weight). The turtleneck fit is very roomy. A drawstring at the head end of the turtleneck would allow a closer fit and keep cold and rain away from his neck. For the money the coat is acceptable.

The media could not be loaded.  Got it for my fat, almost 3 years old mastiff / great dane / lab cross that is our guard dog and spends the night outside. He has a very thin coat and gets easily cold.My observations:Not a very warm jacket, since the material isn't insulated whatsoever.The fleece is thin, not what they show on the pictures.The neck is very loose, which was perfect for my thick necked dog, but again, it doesn't fit like the one on the handsome dobbie showed on the picture.It seems to be waterproof, but how would that matter when the neck is fleece and water goes to their body on the inside of the jacket, through the fleece??I'm used to jackets where they have velcro to close the belly band. This one has cheap plastic buttons that open a couple of times day. Velcro is better, more stable, and better adjustable.The very long leg straps are actually good for him, but he has lots of meat to fill them in!!!! LoLThe front zipper is a big joke. Very cheap and doesn't stay closed at all. From the moment I got it out of the bag and put it on him, it automatically opened and doesn't matter how many times I close it. It opens in seconds!!!The chest portion gets "very" exposed, as you can see on my dog's pictures, so he does have a cold chest in the mornings.Bottom line: Would NOT recommend it, nor buy it again. Find something different if you're looking for warmth and really waterproof.Disclaimer: he spends the night outside, but we have a heated enclosed shed with 3 large dog houses, Costco beds and dog blankets. He can stay out of the weather any time he wants to, and he does that as much as he can. He's spoiled, but does earn his kibble by keeping strangers away from our house.

This worked out great over the winter for my little Doberman puppy. She didn’t like the straps that went around the back area but they worked keeping the jacket down around her. I will be repurchasing the same jacket again when she is fully grown!

The loose straps in the back get poop on them frequently. It also allows the coat to get crooked. The coat does hold warmth well, and works for 15 min walks at 0°F. I found that a good pair of shoes work far better. I take my doberman ice fishing a lot.

It looks great on him. Easy to put on and take off. He looks much more comfortable now when we go for a walk during these colder months. I'm thinking of buying a second one. I'm not using the back security elastic straps, my dog looks uncomfortable with those on and they seem unnecessary

I bought this product for my sick small alpaca.He passed away before this product came. (Product came to my house very quick after ordered) Pity.. but product is good quality so I will give to my friend’s dog as a gift.

I bought a coat for our Cavoodle who loves it already and wears on his walks and in the garden.. the coat was a very goodBuy and feels so warm, it is well made and The fit is perfect. Delivery was so quick I could not believe i ordered Friday and was delivered Saturday, which is a record but Amazon is known for its quick delivery.

Can't fault the product for the price, the only thing is I have cut the back legs elastic bends which was annoying to my dog.Now it is perfect, will definitely buy again
