Very strong magnets you have to really pull the knives to get them out plus they have the acetate safety covers over them win win

It took two tries to receive this item. the first one was returned and refunded before it even reached me for some reason. I ordered again, this time it was delivered by Royal Mail and arrived earlier than expected. The knife block is just as shown, the magnets are strong too. Just what we needed.

Asked for proof of age before ordering and on delivery! Clearly this knife block has a hidden risk potential - who knew? Item is of good quality, the guard/screen is acrylic, not glass so more susceptible to scratching. Holds knives well and looks good

Very pleased with this knife block. I was worried it would get dusty and dirty and hard to clean, but it’s not. Easy to put together the seller provide everything. Great size, will fit 8 knifes. Would buy again!

The knife block is good quality and the magnet seems quite strong, using the knife set I have at home. I bought this for a present and as the pictures show knifes and Amazon do over 18 checks from order to delivery I only assumed it would be a complete present. You definitely can't stab someone with it and it's awkward to hold to hit someone in the head with it... A bread board would be better for close combat.

I like the knife block very nice and sturdy, what Ì didn't like was it just came in the post in the the box you would have come home from the shop with so every delivery company would know exactly what was in the box and you could have just opened it, as it wasn't even sealed.

This product was much better than I was expecting it to be! After combing through other similar products, I came to this one which was reasonably priced and was not to big for my apartment kitchen. The magnets are super strong, and it has no issues holding my 2 chef knives, bread knife, 3 paring knives, and kitchen shears. It is heavy enough to not be toppled over easily, and it has a rubber bottom to keep it from sliding around on your counters. The only thing I would be careful of, is picking it up/moving it by holding the acrylic plastic covering. The acrylic is perfect for keeping out kids’ fingers or cat paws, but because the products is heavish, I wouldn’t trust the plastic to not crack or at least be compromised if one were to squeeze it too hard. If I have to move it, I hold it by the metal rivets which hold the plastic cover in place (see photo for reference, I only was holding it by one hand though so I could take the picture). I originally got this to protect my cats from touching the knives, as would probably happen if I got a regular magnetic knife organizer (so far so good!). But I actually love how it looks on the counter too! I highly recommend the product!!

Délicat, visuellement très joli mais surtout bon magnétisme pour tenir tous mes couteaux même lors des transports en roulotte. J’adore ce produit.

Für mich die optimale Eigenschaftskombination eines Messerblocks. Ich wünschte mir einen Messerblock, der meine neuen Messer nicht gleicht abstumpft. Damit entfallen die Blöcke, bei welchen man die Messer in ein Material einsteckt, also klassischer Weise Holz mit Vorbohrungen, modern in Kunststoffspaghetti. Die platzsparende Variante sind Magnetbänder, welche man an der Küchenwand anbringt. Mir missfällt aber, dass die Messer dabei offen anhaften und Haushaltsunfälle dabei nicht ausgeschlossen sind. Überdies haben solche Bänder in meiner Familie schonmal ihre Haftung verloren und beim Absturz Messer und andere Küchenutensilien beschädigt. Der neue Trend sind nun ansehnliche Holzblöcke mit integrierten Magnetbändern. Zwischen diesen habe ich mich bewusst für diese Variante entschieden, da hier noch eine transparente Kunststoffscheibe vor den Block geschraubt wird. Sollte man doch mal heftiger gegen den Block stoßen oder ungünstig an die herausragenden Messergriffe greifen, so purzeln nicht gleich die Messer durch die Küche und man verletzt sich nicht. Auf beiden Seiten können Messer angehaftet werden. Der Stand ist sehr stabil, sogar besser als erwartet. Minimales Manko: offenbar ist nur ein Magnetband ganz oben unter dem Holz eingelassen. So kann man Messer wirklich nur von oben einschieben. Mit einem zweiten Magnetband im unteren Bereich könnte man noch weitere kurze Messer von der Seite einschieben, das wär Top. Bei dem günstigen Preis kann ich die Entscheidung aber nachvollziehen. Bitte messt euren Platzbedarf vor dem Kauf nochmal aus! Der Block ist schmal. Das ist sehr angenehm, wenn man nicht viel Platz auf der Arbeitsfläche hat. Mit vielen Messern stößt man da aber trotz Beidseitigkeit schnell an seine Grenzen.

Heavy. The knives hold very well to the wood. Nice look. I didn't expect the plexiglass to be removable. Good for cleaning!
