I love the way Frye leather looks and feels. I purchased the handbag in the same color and the wallet is a tad darker, which I would consider normal with leather. It is holding up well and still looks like new!

I'm a huge fan of Frye products so when I saw this wallet for such a good deal, I grabbed it quickly. I like that this wallet has plenty of room for cards, IDs, and bills. I purchased the Willow color which is more of a pale grey with an almost greenish hue. I've had it for about a month now and wouldn't change a thing.

I don’t know why this is labeled as the Melissa phone wallet when this is the Melissa Foldover wallet. It is more spacious than I initially anticipated and the leather is beautiful and soft. I am always torn between brown and black purses/wallets and the slate color is a perfect medium. As with any Frye product, the leather smell is always delightfully intoxicating. However, I am a bit disappointed that the back of the wallet did not come with the leather “Frye” stamped tag near the bottom; however, I think that is something I am willing to ignore because I like it so much. I also saw this exact wallet in department stores, like Dillard’s and Nordstrom, and they did not have the “Frye” logo on the back so don’t let that deter you off alone. I did buy it when it was shipped and sold by Amazon and they are an authorized retailer and the products are also covered under the Frye warranty! I emailed Frye to verify this. I plan on treating it with the Frye weatherproof dressing to protect against the elements, maybe this will also cover and protect against the scraping and nicks that it easily picks up. Frye recently came out with their own leather lotion and they recommend it for their wallets and handbags. I, again, emailed Frye to verify this. Overall I am a big fan of the Frye products and their timeless beauty, quality and simplicity!

Cannot even express to you how much I love this wallet. It is Frye which as you may know is very high quality and worth every penny. If you are bothered by the rustic or worn look then this may not be a good choice. But. I love it. I take this wallet out and just love on it even if I’m just sitting at the kitchen table!! 😂 I love the smell of real leather too!!! Highly recommend.
