The thickness of this shirt is a beefy T-shirt weight. I’m in love with itI just had shoulder surgery done on Monday, the shirt made it in on Tuesday, got washed...then I immediately put it on!The nurses that came to my home to change my dressings lives it as well, easier to deal with than most shirts because of the snaps and the fact the snaps go all the way down the side hems Of the shirtI bought it large because I knew I would have: wound dressings, my arm sling with the built in cushion pillow, a bag hanging around my next with the pain blocker bottle and the ice therapy machine’s shoulder pad velcroed around my body and strapped to my shoulder so I wanted the extra room!I went with the V-neck so I wouldn’t feel like I was being chocked. It’s very roomy. Btw. I’m only 5’1 so this fits me like a short dress so I wear shorts underneath.If you’re going through breast surgery,

This shirt is exactly what I hoped it would be. So soft and comfy. It’s very well made, but be sure & read the instructions on washing, etc. The snaps are well done, but common sense says don’t pull hard on them, just gently unsnap and you’ll be fine. Pulling too hard could result in a torn snap & an unhappy you so be gentle. Other than that, I wasn’t sure what size to order as it was a little confusing. I’m 5’3”, 154 lbs. ordered a large & it swallowed me; however, I’ve decided that it works good for my surgery so I’m keeping it. It covers my bum & leaves plenty of room for me to maneuver around with my arm in a sling post rotator cuff surgery. Should work well for rehab, too.There was a slight problem with my order, but I messaged the seller who was very prompt in resolving the issue & very professional. I will pass the seller’s information to others as I highly recommend them & would definitely order from them again.

I ordered a size Medium and I normally wear a women’s medium. These are men’s sizes which means this is huge on me. Which is what I wanted in order to accommodate the large sling that I will have after rotator cuff surgery. The material is a thick cotton. Hopefully it won’t be too hot (my surgery is mid May and I’ll be in a sling through June) it’s large and black enough that I don’t plan to bother with a bra.I just tried to put it on alone and I don’t see how I will be able to snap the side mid-section alone when I won’t be able to abduct or rotate my arm. I think I will have to try to step into and do the side snap first. Then pull it up. I won’t have help during the last 2 weeks in a sling but I hope by then I will have transitioned to regular front button shirts so it won’t matter.I’ll be using this shirt to leave the surgicenter and for doctor follow up visits. Maybe for work during week 3. Hard to say.Update: worked perfectly for getting dressed in post op an pt appointment. Way too large and frumpy for work. So I can’t wear to work since it’s a men’s shirt and falls well below by hips and sleeves are too big.If you are a large woman (maybe size 12 or 14 this might work. Plus it’s too thick for 70 degree weather. Otherwise a great concept

I love this thing. Ease of being in physical therapy for my left shoulder. The t-shirt opens on both sides, which is good for future use. Even good for nursing mothers, imho. I don't have to undress and be half naked during pt. Does not stretch. I wear xl women's but bought 2xl. Fits loose, just the way I like it. And it's plenty long (like a dress) for us modest girls not wanting to hang our behinds in others faces, no matter how handsome and nice the physical therapist is ;) And I'm a round girl, so the more I cover, the less others will have to see my disgusting body.

I wanted this in black so it wouldn't be see-through, and I wanted to get it one size too big so it would be a little baggy on me. I had to go two sizes over my measured size because they didn't have it in black in the size I wanted. So, it was two sizes too big, and very baggy; HOWEVER - It still fit and I was still able to wear it, and it was super comfortable and convenient, and I would definitely buy another one if I had to (but probably one size smaller next time, if available). If you have to go too large, I guess the plus is, you can. I had to wear nothing under it, and I was still okay with this thing being huge on me. I wore it for a shoulder procedure (not a surgery), wore it the day of, even walked into a store wearing it, during the procedure, and for a day or two after. It's super comfy for being out and about, or for being in bed, and convenient with all the snaps all over it for access everywhere.

I had rotator cuff surgery The shirt was a lifesaver since I was in a sling with a pillow it made it easy for the people at the hospital to put everything on me that they needed to in the ice pack that I needed to be attached to for the first four days. If your Having shoulder surgery of any kind highly recommend the shirt. It’s worth the money.

After 4 surgeries on my shoulders, and the right being a total reverse replacement, I just happened to see this after my left had a complicated repair. Wish someone would have told me sooner. In week 2, I ordered this, so much easier for a helper or depending on your movement, you can do it yourself.Well thought out, passable for a nice T type shirt, good quality and design. Easiest shirt to wear after surgery with VERY limited movement until PT.Definitely recommend before you leave the hospital. Significantly reduces pain on movement. Wish someone told me!

What a great option to a hospital gown or cutting up a shirt to make it fit over my husband’s PICC line in his left arm. This shirt is very well made. The quality weight fabric is not see through and it’s soft and comfortable. The sturdy snaps make it easy to take on and off. I ordered his normal size XL. It’s generously cut and doesn’t bunch or bind. The longer length provides extra coverage and looks great over his lounging shorts. We are both extremely pleased with this garment for ease of wear, comfort and good looks.
