Such a cute and very informative book. Som enjoys the book and I am happy to read it to him.

My children love this book! We have owned it for a few years now. It still frequently gets picked as a bedtime story! My kids like that in addition to the fun story, there is a nonfiction part!

This is the cutest story and the illustrations are amazing! I’m a preschool teacher and we’re using this for our summer curriculum. I LOVE that this is a true story and it has real life stories in the back about other octopuses shenanigans as well as facts and a picture of the real Inky before his escape. I love this book!

My 3 year old great grandson loves this book. He could not understand why the octopus wanted to leave his aquarium. A great learning experience for young children.

This was a cute story... my 9-year-old picked it out... I wish it had been a bit longer but it was fun to read.

I bought this book to take on a beach vacation with my grandkids, and it turned out to be a favorite. The story about an octopus who escapes from the aquarium was accompanied by true stories of amazing things octopi did in captivity. Five year old and two year old both loved it.

Has become a favorite in our house - relatively quick read for little kids with about 4-5 lines per page of rhyming prose. Great illustrations being story to life. Awesome facts at back with longer text. Highly recommend!

We have sat & read this multiple times since it arrived! Fantastic story. Beautiful illustrations. My six year old devoured this!! We laughed so much. Worth the cost, we now have octupus bedding & toyvto go with this.

My toddler absolutely loves this story. We didn’t know this when we bought it but it’s based on a real event and at the end of the book they give some more fun stories about octopus. Well written and fun visuals!
