Loving multiple shifts, couple of tools listed to install.
Installed in about 20 minutes, great to have a range of multiple shifts within one motion. My Roscoe 7 just required Allen keys 4 & 5, a philips head screw driver, cutters and a small vice grip to crimp the cable cover on the end of the new cable. (Old cable cover had to be cut off). I was able to use the old mount on the stock bars too. Definitely buy it again, if I got a new bike without this shifter.

Worth it for improvements over a Deore shifter.
Exactly as described. Works much better then the Deore I had on there before - more responsive on the shift to larger cogs, not much different on the shift to smaller cogs though. But overall a good purchase.

Works like a dream!
Super satisfied with this shifter. Shifting to harder gears is tougher than my Deore shifters I'm replacing, but I'm happy with the surefire feel of it. No guessing! Just what the doc ordered, precise shifting!

Doesn’t match photo
Item did not match picture. It did not come with the bar clamp/band. It is the shifter that direct mounts to the brake lever which is what I’m trying to replace.

Receive this today and was very disappointed. Item wasn’t even in Shimano packaging, came in a generic brown box. The shifter was greasy with signs of use. And to top it all, it doesn’t work. Was probably a defective item that was returned.

Shimano, XT SL-M8100, Trigger Shifter, Speed: 12 is the great shifter. I used it on my Xt 11-46T No any issue.
