HOTCOLOR Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement for HP 564XL Photo Black CB322WN 4-Pack

My trusted HP Photosmart 7520 suddenly displayed a “printhead not found” error. I methodically followed instructions on the HP site to clear the error 3 times but it didn’t work. When I saw the price of a HP printhead listed for $74 on their site, I thought it was better to just buy a new printer. After an online search, I had decided on the new model when the Hotcolor printhead option popped up. I was not sure about using a non HP part but then at $29, I decided to gamble once. The part was delivered quickly and was packaged neatly. I changed out the part and voila! the printer started working...just as always, good as new! Though it’s just been a few days, I am impressed with the product. It’s working as promised. If things change or the part fails in a few weeks, my rating and thoughts will certainly change but for now, it’s all good!

The HotColor 5 printhead looks just like my original HP 7520 printhead and fits perfectly. Appears the problem is with my printer. I first tried cleaning the old printhead, that did not work, even with new ink cartridges. I had cleaned my old printhead successfully a year ago so this was probably my first indication that this time the problem was with the printer. Installed the HotColor 5 printhead, that did not work. I spent some time working with it, but I think my printer has finally died. I have had the printer for years so it is most likely time.My mother also has an HP Photosmart 7520 printer that I bought for her perhaps 1-2 years after I bought mine. So, I will keep the HotColor 5 printhead in case she needs it. I did clean her printhead a year or so ago and it is working fine, but you never know. Thankfully she can use all the ink cartridges I just bought.The seller followed up a day after I received the product to be sure everything is OK. That is always appreciated.

I was skeptical when my printer had a read out about needing a new print head. I had just installed some ink that wasn't brand name and all of a sudden the printer would not work and the screen said ' damaged print head'. WELLLLLLL I took a chance and ordered a new one and it all worked just fine! Easy to install and we are up and running. Would order it again if needed.

I have two HP printers. My HP Photosmart 7520 is used excluxively to print all my photos and greeting cards because of its superior print quality. The black ink stopped printing so I tried 2 new black ink cartridges, which also failed. I followed the recommended fix by cleaning the printhead. That did not fix the problem, so I read the reviews for slot 564 printhead replacements. The HOTCOLOR5 reviews seemed to have more success in fixing my type of problem. Upon receipt, I installed the new printhead without any difficulty, re-intalled the 5 ink cartridges, aligned the printhead and printed a test page. The new printhead solved the non-printing problem.

It did not work. It is listed specifically as fitting a 7520 HP photosmart printer. The printhead packaging said “564” on it, which is the type of ink cartridge my printer uses. They lied. Yeah, it fits, the cartridges fit too, but my printer refuses to recognize it. My printer control app on my computer shows it as incompatible and the touch screen on the printer says it’s the wrong printhead. So the connections that are supposed to communicate with the printer are utterly defective. Worthless waste of money, as I was worried it would be......

Defective upon installation--black streak down the page, clean cartridge print head--poor print quality result, black not printing, fails alignment, get printhead failure. Unable to get this print head to work. Will be returning to seller for refund.Had to give 1 star to submit.

I have a HP 7515 printer that I've had for a long time. I finally needed to get a new printhead and hunted on Amazon Prime. HOT COLOR 5- slot 564 print head was inexpensive and had good reviews. Arrived within days, easy to install and works perfect! A great value and so glad I took a chance. The owners are so supportive and want you to be satisfied. It print head fit and worked perfectly, or at least the same as the HP unit. It didn't solve my problem as the printer still didn't work correctly, which tells me it was a problem with the printer, not the print head. Since I have another printer that uses ,this print head I will keep it as a spare! I didn't have any problems with incompatible print head messages with my 7510 printer.
