Black Billet Aluminum Seat Bolt by Speed Dealer Customs for Harley Davidson

This is a really useful product to have on hand as an EXTRA. At times, while riding the motorcycle and getting on and off, the rear seat screw in has a propensity to simply unwind itself and loosen up. If this happens and you do not realize it quickly, and retighten the screw, you could have a situation where you lose the screw completely. Periodically checking the tightness of this screw will save a potential disaster, however nothing beats having a spare on hand; just in case. The problem, however, is that the Harley Davidson OEM seat screw is like $40. That is a crazy amount of money for a screw, especially when it has a high chance of "losing itself" from normal use. You will not spend $40 for a SPARE. With this product though, it is priced LOW enough that you can afford to have a SPARE and feel good about the purchase. This screw fits perfectly, is machined matched in billet aluminum black, and looks GREAT. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

This is my second time ordering this product! Use it for my seat bolt on my Harley Softail Slim. When I had the dealer put on a passenger seat they replaced it with their "fancy" 30$ screws, which just like before managed to come lose on a long ride and fall out! 30$ a piece for their dealer screws that always fall out?!?! NOT A CHANCE! So I bought these again and they work perfect! The washer with the foam pad that comes on the black bolt allows the bolt to screw down tight and provide cushion so it can handle the vibrations of the bike and not come lose and all off! Great product even bought spares just in case!

Much easier than having to reach for a screwdriver and risk scratching the fender. Easy on and off. I went with the black to match the fender and seat, hopefully drawing less visual attention. Really like the fact now that if I'm out and need to take the seat off I'm not digging for a screw driver. Overall, I'm liking the look and functionality of it.

Good replacement part for the OEM bolt that was originally used to fasten my motorcycle seat. Easy to install and remove. The only thing that I did not care for was the plain aluminum washer (it is not painted black). However, this is an easy fix because the washer could easily be painted. I chose to not use the washer and added some Loctite to the threads before installing. So far, the product works great and does a fine job holding my seat in place. I ride an HD Nightster 1200 and the bolt fit perfectly without having to alter anything on my bike.

Works great and makes removal of the seat much easier and looks better than the stock screw, in my estimation. It feels like a quality product. Keep in mind that you may still need a screwdriver to remove the seat if you have a passenger grab-strap across your seat. I purchased two of these thinking I could also replace the passenger strap screw on my 2010 Road King with one, but they are not the same size.

When I bought my 2018 Road Glide Special, I was a little annoyed at the idea of needing to have a phillips screwdriver to take off the seat. Suppose your battery is dead for example and you need to jump it. You need to get the seat off to have a look. You'll want 2 of these - one for the back of the seat and one for one side of the passenger grab handle strap so you can get the whole seat off without tools. Nice.

Hubby was happy with THIS bolt from Speed Dealer Customs, looks good on his 95 HD Ultra. Looks just like the picture. Seller was Speed Dealer Customs not Yuyesistore, so be careful when ordering. Speed Dealer Customs delivers from Missouri so got it in a few days. Bought one from Yuyesistore first and it was not as pictured, it was bigger (height) and not flat on top, hubby did not like it. Threw it away. It looked like a counterfeit bolt, not as nice as the one from the seller Speed Dealer Customs.

They are bolts. They fit as they were designed to. I used 2 for the leather strap as well as the seat bolt. And they are just another small detail to help with customizing my 18 Road King.
