Worked on fireplace tile
I got nervous at the last minute and decided not to paint my countertops with this. Instead, I painted the tile around the fireplace. Worked pretty well, but it used more paint than I thought it would. The countertop paint seems to use more than the cabinet paint. I covered with two coats of the sealer, and still have a lot of that left. I used the whole container of the Bone countertop paint to cover the tile in the picture below.

Wonderful product
My countertops are original to my home, 1953 build. To purchase new counters would've cost me several thousand dollars more than I expected due to having extra wide (4') counters. I found this product and thought I'd give it a try. It worked beautifully. Nice hard surface, no peeling. Everyone comments on how nice they look and a couple people liked them so much they purchased their own kits. Just be sure to take your time with this. Adequate drying time in between coats is key to a perfect finish.

Easy to use and certainly changes the look of a older counter top. Hopefully, after a years time it will withstand the daily use. I probably should have applied the "flecs" a little heavier but overall it is a good product. No odor either when applying.

I like the product
I like the product, and its easy to use. The khaki color was not what it appeared on the sample online. It is much lighter and more of what khaki really looks like, not as brown or dark as the picture.

Easy to use and looks great!
This product was very easy to use. The instructional video shows you everything you need to do to have new countertops in one day! I was covering red Formica countertops. I needed an extra coat to cover the color, but had plenty to finish my project! It was so easy to do it was en enjoyable project and I would use it again in a heartbeat!

But, there is a problem....and a big one!
Paint rubs off, like on corners or where you might lean against a counter. Paint was coated properly and sealed. I would be reluctant to purchase again.

The kit comes with everything you need. Follow the instructions closely. Watch the DVD. Plus make sure that you use the sandpaper provided. It is special and sands very smoothly.
