V impressed with the nonslip surface. It's sturdy yet light I'm pleased with it

A very sturdy piece of kit that easily bears my slightly overweight, elderly Lab, Prince. It took a few tries and half a box of treats, for him to get the gist of it, and he seems quite happy with it now. The ramp slides apart easily, so best to mind your fingers and toes when you undo the small retaining strap and a good idea to always use the strap to secure it all before you try picking it up. It fits nicely in the rear seat footwell of my car, but I do place a cover over it to stop any muck/water dripping on the floor or seats. Somebody pointed out that the walking surface is fairly rough and can scratch the inside of the car, but having a cover (old blanket) over it stops that. The surface is rough, but it has very good grip, sands down the dogs claws without damage to his pads and is useful for striking matches for our camping stove. All in all, quite expensive but seems a good quality build and I feel confident that the Prince is safe, and he's happy that he can go for a ride. I'm very happy with it. p.s. Prince says "Thanks".

An excellent dog ramp which is light weight and very sturdy. I use it for my two Chow Chow dogs which are both over 30kgs and it copes with them no problem. The surface of the ramp is covered in a very good non slip material which works well even when wet. My only issue with the ramp is the popper used to keep it closed. It is fitted on a piece of hard plastic which in cold weather gets very brittle and mine snapped off. It does not affect the operation of the ramp but it is something that hopefully the manufacturers will look at as it needs to be a more flexible material. If not for the catch it would have been 5 stars.

We have a Land Rover so needed something long enough for our GSD to be able to climb in and out without the ramp being too steep. This ramp is really good, but you need to take some time to think through how you are going to use it. It is quite long, even when collapsed, so if you intend to store it on the back seat, make sure the car is wide enough and also make sure you are going to be able to park somewhere where another car can't block you in at the side. My partner managed to raise the dog guard that sits just below the backseat headrest level just a couple of inches, so that we could put the cardboard box it came in, upright, against one side, held in place by a strap and the car boot liner. He then put a narrow piece of lino along the bottom of the box to help with sliding the ramp in and out easily. I am 5'1" and with two or three practices I managed to slide the ramp in and out of the box and set it up without any problems. One thing to note - make sure you fasten the clip each time after you have used it or it will have your fingers. This product has been such a help. It is sturdy and fairly easy to use and it only took a couple of goes before our GSD got used to it. He loves it now and thinks it is a game. He weighs 43kg so without it I would never have been able to get him to his physio or hydrotherapy sessions. Would thoroughly recommend, but would emphasise the need to practice with it, before you have to use it properly for the first time.

Tried a few others and this is the best. We have 3 dogs all weighing at least 34Kg through to 44 kg so this is very sturdy with non slip surface that is perfect for the dogs and gives them confidence. They will even walk up on their own !! The item is a little heavier than some and in a small car your may have some storage issues but we have a Ford Ranger and it fits perfectly. Just be mindful when opening that you don’t catch your fingers as it could cause some cuts and bruises. Not an issue if your careful. Would recommend especially to all large dog owners. Enjoy !

This is my second dog ramp and it is so much easier to use than the three part plastic fold up one I had before. I used to catch the dogs with the old one sometimes as it was so awkward, this one is so much safer to use. Dogs are happy using it. It’s slightly more awkward to stow in the car due to its length, but that is a small price to pay. The only downside for me is the handle. I would like it on the other side. I suspect it is made for the European market where the drivers door is the other side.

I bought this when my dog injured himself to help get into the car boot. We tried tempting him but the noise of his claws on the ramp frightened him, despite a gentle introduction on the level. In the end I resorted to lifting him. The metal has very sharp edges and I cut myself on it. Other than that, it is well-made and could work for other dogs but the edges should be smoothed to prevent injury!

Utilisée pour que nos léonbergs puissent monter et descendre de l'arrière du pick-up. Supporte largement les 60kgs du mâle... Et les 86kgs du maître, qui a préféré tester la solidité avant de laisser monter ses chiens 😉😊À voir dans le temps.

War zunächst skeptisch, was die Tragkraft betrifft und weil diese Rampen nicht befestigt werden sondern nur angelegt.Gekauft habe ich sie für einen 58kg Rhodesian Ridgeback der in einen Opel Zafira rein will. Zunächst einmal hält die Rampe problemlos den Hund, ohne zu vibrieren oder wackeln. Ans Auto angelegt, rutscht sie auch nicht weg. Die lauffläche erinnert an Schmiergelpapier. Kein rutschen. Rampe ist stabil und wenig verarbeitet und stufenlos verstellbar. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann die Rampe weiter empfehlen.

Ce l'ho da ormai un anno e posso dire che è stato un buon acquisto. È robusta e neanche troppo ingombrante.

Nous avons acheté cette rampe pour aider nos chiens d'un certain âge à monter dans notre van.Sur le côté pratique, c'est très bien. Elle est solide et assez longue donc la pente est douce. Par contre, elle s'abime très vite au contact des griffes . Le revêtement s'enlève facilement.Nous allons devoir y poser un revêtement plus solide...si c'est possible.
