MK Diamond MK-100 tile saw
You would think that MK Diamond would have the table alignment down pat by now, but they don't. We couldn't even get the center grove in the table lined up with the saw blade while keeping the back of the table at a 90 deg. to the saw blade. Table bearings are very poor quality, won't hold lubrication for more than 10 minutes making it very hard to push table when sawing tile. The 45 Deg cutting attachment that comes with the saw is useless because of its ill fit on the table. Forget this saw spend a little more money and go buy yourself a DeWalt tile saw even if it's a refurbished one. I am very dissatisfied with this saw.

Great saw, but slide arm is a bit sticky
My only complaint about this saw is the action on the platform. I keep a can of WD40 next to the saw and am having to constantly spray the metal bar which the platform moves on. Perhaps this is normal, but it can be bothersome.

IT'S A BEAST!!!
We bought this saw to cut tile as well as other "rocks." It is a beast and we love it! The water pump keeps the blade thoroughly hydrated, the power is excellent, and the saw is very well made. We have cut tile, agatized coral, and granite on this saw and never experienced a loss in power. It plowed right through all of it like a hot knife through butter! Thank you MK for an excellent product. Thus far, we are very satisfied customers. :)

Wet Saw
Recommended as a good quality saw which was purchased to complete outside brick walkway and walkout patio. Easy to use.

Excellent Saw
I have used this saw a lot in the past few months. I read some reviews about the table not moving smoothly, I think its like anything else it needs upkeep too. Take care of it and it will do the job.

Terrible, cheap design
A complete wast of money! Slide table actually has nylon guides on one side, goes all the way around the rod. After 30 minutes of use, they jam constantly. Very cheap design. The blade lock feature broke within a few weeks. Terrible, cheap design.Half way through a project, the blade shaft developed a vibration so bad it tripped breaker. Took it all apart, ordered complete new shaft, bearings, every single part. Used a bearing press and put it all back together. Lost one week. Half a day in, the exact same thing happened again. Bearings and shaft started to wobble, tripping breaker. I went on Craig's list, found a Felkker saw, and bought it within hours. The MK100 is now on my trash trailer. When a company charges you a premium price, you expect good quality at least. This is a poorly built saw. Just maybe, if you wanted to do one half bath, and look great doing it. This would fit that bill. Binding tables, bad bearings, wobbles. Over it.

I've had mine for 25 years
I am reading all of these reviews with a surprised look on my face. I bought my MK-100 when we were building our first house 25 years ago, thought it was an un-necessary expense until I started laying the stone tile and found how invaluable this saw really is. I have used it on commercial jobs, residential contracting jobs, loaned it out to buddies, have literally laid tens of thousands of square feet using this saw. I now use it to cut stone crosses in addition to trimming stone going in my out door patio. Perhaps MK Industries has changed their production or quality of material, but as for mine, the only thing I have replaced is the toggle switch on the motor housing. Couldn't ask for a better wet saw, exceptionally pleased.

Professional-grade saw for a good price
I purchased this saw a few years ago after doing extensive research on this and other saws. Since then, I have used it on dozens of jobs and booked hundreds of hours with it and it has never failed me. I shopped around and found a slightly better price than what Amazon had going at the time, but felt it would be good to place a review here...The Good:1. Heavy-Duty professional tool: This is a pro-grade tool. It is heavy and straight-forward. It uses a very durable and dependable set up: A continuous duty-rated motor operates a belt that operates the blade. It will last dependably for years with continuous use.2. Excellent value: While more expensive than most tile saws you will find at big-box stores, it makes them seem like toys by comparison. Why spend so much $$$ for a cheap tool that can't count on over the years? I purchased this based on the fact that I use it often- better than renting, over time, and better than going cheap for something that wouldn't last. (In the end, it wasn't really that much more than an economy-grade wet saw)3. Strong enough to cut just about everything: It has cut equally well on stone (including granite), ceramic, very tough porcelain, and concrete pavers. A note about cutting: be sure to match a quality blade to the material you are cutting and you will be happier with the results.4. Good capacity: I've used this to cut 18 inch tiles (including on the diagonal) and smaller. The mounting of the saw also allows you to perform plunge cuts, which is a nice feature when you have to do that.Nitpicks:1. Water containment: This is not a saw to be used inside. There is significant spray out the back, so be sure to protect your work area accordingly.2. Stock blade: Not sure if they've improved this in subsequent years, but the blade that came stock with mine dulled and warped quickly, resulting in consistently curved cuts. A quality, well-maintained blade keeps me loving the machine now, but the original blade was weak.3. Tray slider mechanism: Probably my biggest gripe, though not enough to change my mind after years of use. (but enough to warrant four stars rather than five) The nature of the mechanism they used for this (rather than a protected slide rail and/or simple wheel-on-rail system) requires you to regularly clean and re-lube the left slide rail where the tray bearings are. The rail gets wet with spray, the lube wears off, and the table begins to stick. Another reviewer suggests (bees wax?) which may work better... I just use 3-in-1 oil and clean it often. Slightly annoying, but it hasn't kept me from loving the tool.Other thoughts:1. Tray: It is a coated aluminum tray, which works well and is tough and durable. Would have been nice to provide it with a no-slip tough rubber surface (thinking DeWalt here) or to provide some sort of insert or attachment.2. It doesn't bevel. (also thinking DeWalt here) Would be nice. Would also raise the price considerably, making it a different value proposition. It wasn't a deal breaker for me, and I probably would not be willing to spend a few hundred bucks more for the feature. On this point, consider how often you would need to bevel tiles for the work you will be doing; I use this saw to bevel the few tiles I need to by sight and it has worked for me.3. Kit. Mine came with the accessory kit. The dressing stone was nice, as was the stop. But the miter gauge and the 45 degree attachment are rendered useless due to their sloppy fit on the tray.Bottom line:This is a quality tool for an excellent value. It will last you, and will cut anything you want it to, but it doesn't have bells and whistles like some other saws. It is heavy, and the stand is essential. It's got some tough competition out there from saws that do more, but that also come with a higher price. All things considered, I would purchase this saw again in a heartbeat.
