Hikari Mini Algae Wafers, 0.77 oz

My amano shrimp love these things. They are a nice size so you can easily control the portions. I break them up into a little smaller chunks to prevent the shrimp from making off with whole ones.

These are very small and my shrimp absolutely love them. The size is a little awkward though because one is just big enough for one or two shrimp, but no one taught my shrimp how to share so I have to break it into even smaller pieces so they can all get some. I would probably buy a bigger size next time, but these work perfectly regardless.No mess, sinks immediately, and my shrimp go crazy for them.

My catfish loves these algae pellets. It goes crazy when I drop one into its tank every morning. And my catfish look to be happy and healthy.

This was a wonderful purchase. Buying these in bulk saves so much in money in the long run. The quality of the Hikari is the same as the smaller retail packages. It is packaged as pictured. And, what I have received is always good on expiration dating.If you know you will always buy fish food and will always buy the Hikari Algae Wafers, then buy it in bulk and save a lot of money. My fish love this stuff. It comes vacuum sealed in the commercial bulk packaging as pictured and labeled the same. Commercial volume is the way to go. No need to keep paying for small packages.I definitely recommend this product. 2.2 pounds comes to 34 ounces. Algae wafers are so expensive to buy. They stay together, and they do not cloud the water. My plecos and my catfish love this stuff. My african cichlids also devour these in the tank.I am very happy with my purchase. In my opinion, the best sinking herbivore food. The omnivorous fish love it too. The nutritional profile is excellent. This size package makes it very reasonably priced.

I have a 12th freshwater community tank. I have used these ever since I’ve gotten my bottom feeders (clown pleco, kuhli loaches, snails) and they love them and have been alive and healthy for five years now. This brand is great, I also use the micro pellets made by Hikari for the other fish and they love it! Highly recommend

Hikari è una garanzia. Ottimo mangime per erbivori ed onnivori (per variare la dieta). Unico problema: non utilizzare con i platy. Ho avuto un paio di decessi causa soffocamento non bocconi troppo grandi di questi wafer. Con Sewellia e Guppy nessun problema.

Great little wafers. Great for small and big catfish. Doesn’t cloud water. Highly recommend these.
