“There’s Savages in This World, Hiding in Plain Sight”
Jason King has lived a lifetime by the age of 22, and his handler, Lars, is sure he won’t live much longer if he doesn’t change his ways! He may be an amazing black ops agent, but he is so injured after his missions, doctors wonder how he is still alive. Lars decides to send him to the one man who can tweek his skills to the next level. Brody is as special as Jason, “a pioneer in the art of physical warfare”. Unfortunately, Brody lives in a compound in the Congo. The Author gives us an amazing look at the “Democratic Republic of the Congo”, a place of great beauty and great horror. Jason knows he can’t save everyone, but he can’t help being drawn into the personal tribulations of Brody. Book 3 of a young Jason King is an astoundingly good read, impossible to put down till the end!

Definitely a Page Turner
This book was an enjoyable one and hard to put down. Tragedy of the Congo with villains all around, Jason King reaches his potential with the help of a really intriguing character in Brody Hartman. I wish he was in the series more later on. Rogers is One of my favorite authors and this book is why. The story didn't sound all that enticing and yet I loved very minute of it and was riveted. This whole world that Rogers has created is dark but had good people around to do what they can. I'll keep reading books in the King and Slater world as long as he keeps writing them...and I have no doubt I'll love reading them.

Excellent action thriller
Matt Rogers fans will not be disappointed with the latest offering by this prolific author. SAVAGES is Book #3 of the Jason King Files. After nearly getting beaten to death at the ends of both Book #1 CARTEL and Book #2 WARRIOR, after R & R, Jason King is sent by his handler Lars to study under a special ops black operator Rock Star Brody – a character just like sensei Mr. Miyage and the Karate Kid or Yoda and Luke Skywalker. Brody is a recluse who has “set up shop” in the jungles of the Republic of Congo. After a reasonable amount of self-reflection and training fine-tuning by Brody, there is A LOT of action to fill up the last chapters of this book. Brody and Jason are heroic “good guys” and the “bad guys” are worthy of their wrath.

Lots of action.....
Jason and his handler, Lars get in touch with an ex black operative who plans to get Jason into tip top fighting fit. After his last two ops he came back practically beaten to death with horrible injuries and Brody thinks he can teach Jason how to release his wild self and save himself from all these injuries. Which he actually does!!!! Who knew???? Real good story.....loved all the emotions it brought out. Good job, Matt Rogers!!! Thanks, Amarillo Turtle

Outstanding
What else can I say. Read all these books. I am enjoying how this series goes back to the early days. Well thought out and written with the same excitement as all the other books. Can’t wait for the next one, whether it Jason King or Will Slater, doesn’t matter, they are all excellent.

Awesome
Author keeps you going attempting to see where his story will take you. It is truly enjoyable reading. I will definitely purchase more from this author.Should have someone proofread his work. At one point a vehicle was shut down, only to have the vehicle idling on the next page.Still truly enjoyed this book.Looking forward to the next.

Best of The Jason King Files. . .
I have read all of Matt Rogers books, can't put them down. Definitely the most trill packed, exciting work I have read since Vince Flynn. I especially enjoyed the ten short stories, keep up the amazing work Matt.

Jason King's sent to a tutorial that hones him into a more powerful weapon than he already is.
Jason King spends a little r&r before being sent to a special training camp where hopefully he'll learn how to avoid the toll his body has been paying for his past missions. Self appraisal and aggressiveness clash as he once again devolves into a new fight as the new Jason King emerges.

huge fan
I've read all the different series, I did it in record time. Loved them. Not too much depth one could say, but if you're stuck on a plane or airport it's a decent snack
