On February 17, William Fitzsimmons will release Lions, his follow-up LP to 2010's well-received Gold In The Shadow. Produced by Chris Walla (guitarist for Death Cab For Cutie with previous production credits with Tegan and Sara, The Decemberists and The Postal Service among others), Lions is a career-defining album that explores Fitzsimmons personal transformation over the last few years. The last couple years have been. . . full (kind of difficult to describe years in a single word). They have been wonderful, painful, long, incredibly brief, and more educational and rewarding than any I've ever lived before. Lions is something I'm terribly proud of and utterly connected to, says Fitzsimmons. In advance of the album, Fitzsimmons partnered with Paste to reveal an acoustic performance of the first track from the album, called Centralia.

Great music let down by the LP pressing.
Fab music spoilt by a poor pressing, at various stages through the LP on sides A and B their is distortion and excessive artifact noise, even after a good clean on a record cleaning machine. It looked clean straight from the paper sleeve, no visible damage or excessive production marks, certainly nothing that I can see at the points of noise and distortion. I suspect the stamping plate was damaged to begin with or used beyond its servicable life. Very disappointed.

Love
I just love Fitzsimmons! His voice is so soothing and I always feel so chilled and inspired when listening to him. This album has enough variety to keep you interested but is staying true to His vibe.

Difficilmente digeribile
L'album è molto sincero e genuino. (adoro i pack in cartone)

okay
