works with the shimano altus RD.M310 perfectlyit also fits well on the carrera vengeance bike so im pleased it will get the grandson back on the roadthe item seems to be of reasonable quality but only time will tell

Just be careful to make sure you are buying the right one. This product is shown on the left, my old hanger is shown on the right. If your hanger looks like my old one you need a different product.

Ok, for a cheap fix
These are designed to snap, to protect other parts of the gear system, they do that fine and have purchased a couple more times as two teenage boys and mountain bikes need lots of running repairs.
