Must buy
My husband and I just moved into a new house and had a major issue with robins attacking their reflection in all our windows. It was constant until the sun went down each day. I researched many solutions and finally came across these and decided to take a chance on them. They are MAGICAL! Since I have put 2-3 up at each window about three weeks ago, there hasn’t been a single bird incident. NOT ONE. I’m so so so happy with these. They even look pretty and decorative outside, I might just put them all along my house. I will continue to stock up on these just in case some break from the weather. I am so happy with this purchase.

Seem to work
I bought these from keeping sap sucker birds from destroying my trees. They seem to work. I have one problem with them and that is the rubber string that you are supposed to use to hang them. It is not sturdy and will break so just use a piece of string instead. The little extra effort is worth keeping the birds away. Other than that, good product.

Small price to pay for the benefit!!
These were not magical (my neighbor pointed out a bird sitting on the same branch as one in the cherry tree), but I was very confident that there were far less birds once I hung them. I got FIFTY pounds of cherries, so I am going to say they worked well enough! There were often one or two birds in the tree. Once I removed them there were consistently a handful of birds in the tree, and that was after I took most the cherries.

Worked for us but elastic string dried up and broke after 2 months!
Definitely reduced our woodpeckers pecking on our house. With the supplied elastic string for hanging them, these shiny rods twirl in the slightest breeze. But the elastic string used to hang them is exposed to sun and rain and broke after a couple of months. The rods themselves are fine! What is needed is some weather resistant elastic string. We tried a piece of wire, but then the rods just hang and don't twirl around in the wind. Sigh. The only elastic string I'm finding is for bracelets and clearly not UV resistant!Has anyone else (or the manufacturer) found any weather-resistant elastic string or cord? Say, 1mm thick (or thinner), so it will pass through the hole in the rod?

Worthless
While easy to install, easy to use and a valued product they absolutely suck at keeping birds away.I have birds landing on them!Useless in my opinion but the granddaughter loves how they sparkle and twirl in the sunshine.......🙄

These Actually Prevent Birds From Crashing Into Windows!
We love to feed the birds, but they kept crashing into our windows. Some were just stunned, but some died. Window decals failed. These silver rods not only worked, they're pretty. We attached two or three of them together to make them longer (they conveniently have holes predrilled top and bottom) depending on the size of the window and hung them outside each window. No more crashes!! In fact, we watched birds fly toward the windows, but instead of crashing into them they landed on the rods! We're so impressed. We're ordering more to hang outside the rest of our windows.

Falls out & birds don't care
Bought these to keep the grackles out of my white mulberry tree. They really couldn't care less about them. Like, they don't even bat an eyelash before landing en masse in my tree and stripping it of the berries. While the product looks pretty in the winter when all the leaves are off the tree, by midsummer most of them are now littering the ground around the tree as the attached stretchy-band connectors have almost all failed.Buy these as a pretty decoration perhaps, and throw away the line they come with to replace with some other option for connecting to the branches. I'm sure your birds will also appreciate how you've spruced the place up for them.

Keep the Birds Out
We were having a problem with birds building nests in our pavilion. I tried numerous solutions based on internet searches. They did not work. I wanted a solution that would not harm birds, were easy to install, were reasonably priced and kept the birds out. I found the BRR rods on Amazon. I ordered a set. They solved the problem. I have ordered another set to use in other areas around the outside of our home.
