I've been eyeing Kitsch shower caps for ages but hadn't decided on a print or prioritized the purchase. Though I don't watch the show, the Bridgerton collab was a pretty enough floral to get me to take the plunge and I'm glad I did. It's easier to secure your hair properly than with a traditional showercap and is quite waterproof. All in all an upgrade for my shower routine. My bangs don't get crushed like they do with a headband and I'm not trying to tuck stray hairs in like with a regular cap. The elastic is snug on my hairline; I do tend to have a faint impression of it from my forehead even after a 10m shower but I haven't felt physical discomfort. The satin is tightly woven and pretty. I've had other fashion headpieces that use similar wire and it's resilient for being bent and unbent repeatedly, though it'll hold some kinks along the length. I think the instructions said to roll the open edge forward to seal it after you get your hair in; I would definitely encourage rolling towards the back so you don't create a little valley for water to hang out. Looking at the various product photos, it would seem they may have streamlined the design for the collab style compared to the original.

I absolutely love this leopard print shower cap! From the moment I took it out of the packaging, I was impressed by how chic and fun the design is. Best shower cap! I have thick hair and it fits great and holds all of my hair in. I love that this shower cap doesn't cause my hair to frizz after showering. I have tried many shower caps in the past and this is by far my favorite. And the cute designs are an added plus as well.

This cap has worked great for keeping water out and keeping my hair dry and frizz free!! It did however come with a slight fishy smell that I can not get rid of for the life of me! Other than that it is super cute and comfortable I am worried that the bending mechanism will eventually break but so far after about a month of use I have had no problems!

I could sing from the rooftops about how much I love this shower cap, which is kind of silly. I had my eye on it for awhile, but wasn’t sure if it would be worth the money. My only regret is that I didn’t order one sooner. It’s easy to use and it makes me feel so secure. I know that if I have this on, I don’t have to worry about any of my hair getting wet. I wear 22 inch sew in extensions, based on this, I think I have more hair than the average person and I have no trouble fitting all of my hair into this. I think this would work well for someone with very thick or long hair. The design is cute too (pink checker), not that anyone ever sees me in it. I have been using this for maybe about a month and it has held up well so far, but only time will tell. The only con I can think of is that it takes up a lot of room to store in my small shower. Overall, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to disposable shower caps ever again. I used to always worry if all my hair was covered, or if it was going to slip off. This one is study and secure. 5/5!!

Very cute and well-made, BUT I don't think it's very functional. It isn't very easy to get all my hair tucked in (and yes I first put my hair in a pony/bun). The cute bow collects water and then dumps the collected water when I remove the cap. It also inexplicably collects water somewhere in the back. I have several, much cheaper shower caps that work much better and go on much easier. So much for trying to be cute in the shower, lol.

There are several options on this same listing, and this review is for the Terracotta Checker Satin Shower Cap with the open backed wire closure. I've purchased and/or used a lot of shower caps over the years, from the flimsy "single-use" ones you get at hotels, all the way up to the $50 S.h.h.h.ower caps (I absolutely HATED this competitor product BTW, but that's not what this review is about). The Kitsch cap has a bit of a learning curve, because it goes on a lot differently than any other shower cap I've ever used before (it opens in the back, and you kind of put it on like a headband, then roll it closed around a firm wire, and tuck in the ends to secure). I've been pleasantly surprised at how wonderfully it works. It's snug without being overly tight, and the soft liner keeps my hair from getting frizzy. There is still a bit of moisture intrusion at the nape of the neck and the top of the forehead, but it's significantly less than I experience with any other shower cap, both in terms of how much moisture, and how far into my hairline the water leaks. It's also incredibly quiet if you end up getting the shower spray on your head during your shower. Some caps it sounds like drums on your head, but the Kitsch cap is soft and thick and keeps the noise down. It also comes with a little tab for easy hanging storage. The big downside is that the pink/terracotta pattern seems to be the only color available for this style, and I would have preferred a different color/pattern.

This works great!! Not one strand of hair got wet when I pulled it back and tucked it into the shower cap! I love the top that has the wire closure keeps all of my hair dry on the top too! Highly recommend!
