SAVED MY SANITY!
Otis is the best escape artist I've ever known. He has EXTREME separation anxiety. I rescued him back in December. His first cage was the typical wire cage which, I THOUGHT, was heavy-duty and sturdy and well-made (which, it was) but I had no idea what Otis was capable of! He completely destroyed the plastic tray at the bottom of the first cage. I was at my wits end with all his escaping and destroying. I came across this indestructible cage, and I read the reviews. Some of them did concern me in that some dogs have still gotten out of this cage and also hurt themselves in the process. But I was so desperate to try to make things work, I ordered it. Once it arrived and I unpacked it, I was a bit confused with it; however, the instructions were good, and I was able to get it put together within 30 minutes. I was impressed with how heavy duty it seemed, and I thought, there's no way he's getting out of this. But I still had my doubts due to some of the reviews and because I know how determined Otis is and how aggressive he is with chewing and destroying things when I'm not there. The next morning, I put him in it and locked it, praying he wouldn't somehow bust through it. When I got home, the apartment was clean, and he was still in the cage! If I'd had champagne, I'd have popped the top and celebrated! Even though it seemed to work the one day, I was still slightly doubtful because it had only been one day. Then, one day turned into a week without any escapes. Now it's been nearly a month, and he WILLINGLY goes in! I think his go-to was/is digging his way out through the bottom. Well, he can't do that with this cage because of how it's designed and because I reinforced it with zip ties which were provided with the cage. And he's tried. Oh, he's tried. I know because there were times his bed was scrunched back from digging. Also, I appreciate the wheels very much! I almost didn't install them because I figured I could slide the cage on the carpet; however, I ended up installing them and was glad I did because it glides across the carpet with ease if I need to move it. While the wheels make it easy to maneuver the cage, the cage is heavy enough that the dog can't move it. (He'd moved his wire cage from point A to point B in escaping). Otis isn't as reluctant and doesn't seem as anxious to get into this cage. Today, I didn't even have to guide him by the collar to get inside. I'm not entirely sure why this is but I'm thankful. Sometimes he'll get all the way in for a couple of seconds and then walk back out while I'm at home, and he didn't do that with his first cage. I'd tried everything I could. He destroyed his first cage. He destroyed the bathroom door and other things in the bathroom when I had to keep him in there during the transition from his first cage to this cage. No matter how bare I left the bathroom, he always found something to destroy. And if there was any way he could escape, he'd do it and create mass destruction. This cage saved my sanity and my dog from being rehomed where he most likely would have ended up back at the pound. TL;DR: Pros: *Extremely sturdy *Solid *Smart design (particularly regarding the bottom of the cage) *Easy to set up *Wheels make it easy to maneuver cage *Excellent for my dog who is an expert escape artist, an aggressive chewer, and leaves mass destruction upon escaping---HE CAN'T ESCAPE THIS ONE! Cons: *I have none! Do I recommend this cage? 1,000%! YES! Do it. Buy it. It'll be worth it.

Couldn't ask for better 10/10
I purchased this because I have a dachshund who developed IVDD and HATES being in a crate. He typically destroys crates in order to get out and ends up further hurting himself. This crate is absolutely Houdini proof. It is not only extremely sturdy but it is well thought out. The top lifting allows you to lift an injured dog without having to maneuver them through the door. It also allows you to attend to them without them trying to escape. The double latches on the side door means that the door is VERY securely closed so he doesn't spend so much energy even trying to escape. The wheels allow the crate to be moved around the house with ease EXCEPT the crate is a bit wide to fit though and interior door while assembled. This is fantastic when you have a recuperating dog that wants to be near you but shouldn't be walking. There is plenty of room for my standard size dachshund to stretch out fully. Truthfully, when they're uninjured, this comfortably holds both of my dachshunds. It would easily accommodate all medium sized dogs. This is a heavy item and, while not difficult to assemble, I do feel that having two people there to put it together is helpful. Overall, this is a heavy duty, fantastic purchase that, when properly cared for, should outlast any dogs lifetime.

48 inch Heavy Duty Crate
We got this big 48 inch crate as a buy once cry once situation. The crate comes in a box with parts, bolts, nuts, and tools needed to assemble. The included instructions are well written making them easy to follow. The crate has a door on the top, a tray in the bottom, has wheels (if installed) with locks to stop them from moving and a nice size door making it great for my cause. My puppy is 2 months old and loves his crate. We did a lot of searching and for what you get with this the price is unbeatable. The crate seems very well build and should last a very long time.

Worth the money spent
Very happy with this cage and my fast growing puppy seems to like it too! He fits comfortably and still has room to grow! Easy to assemble as itโs pretty much already together. The bars are thick and durable. Easily accessible with double sliding locks. I did NOT put the caster wheels on though as I didnโt want it shifting at all, instead I placed on a rug. I also placed tray on top of vented floor so no chance of his nails catching in slats. I will say Iโm a bit unhappy with delivery driver dropping it off in my driveway. It was a struggle to get the 70# box up the porch steps and in the house by myself.

awesome kennel crate
Four stars only because it needed to be larger. Bought the biggest crate (48/38) and from the description & photo it appeared it would be enough to allow my dog to.stand, turn around and sit comfortably. It is not. My dog is a just a little over 3 ft tall Great Pyrenees Poodle. He barely fits. Its a beautifully well made, sturdy crate. No actual assembly needed. It comes folded and all thats necessary is securing with bolts provided. I like it alot, its just not very comfortable for my dog. I can leave him for short periods if he stays laying down kind of curled. The top lifts and stays open. The latches are secure. The wire shelf and bottom tray slides out easily for cleaning. A separately purchased water & food bowl easily attaches securely on the wire frame. If I hadnt put it together and trashed the box, I would return it and find something much.bigger. if you have a smaller large dog, its a wonderful crate. If a larger size was available, I would buy again.

Slight bump in the road but seller saved the day!
Thankful to the seller for helping when the door came with a hinge broken off in shipping. Not having to return the whole unit and wait for another one really helped us take the time to acclimate the puppy to the crate while we waited for a new door to come. So far the crate has been great and itโs nice having the wheels on it for easy movement. I wanted to put a little more money in for something sturdier than typical wire crates and this will withstand the chewing phase thank the Lord. Weโve already utilized the underneath tray for spill clean-up so thumbs up there! The top door also stays open once past a certain point which will be great once our pup is fully grown. Fingers crossed this crate should last us for years!

Works and Acceptable at this Price Point
This crate is much sturdier than the wire crate I previously had that my German Shepherd was able to flip over and bend out-of-shape to escape. After two weeks of use, my dog has been unable to escape this crate. It came packaged really well, but there was still a dent in one of the front-facing bars. Easy assembly, though this crate is so big and heavy it is unlikely I'll be collapsing it often. Things to note: - My dog does not like the wire floor. I wish the plastic tray fit inside the crate rather than under it. I cannot get my dog a bed yet because he keeps tearing up anything I leave in the crate with him. I'm currently using the tray from my old wire crate inside this one so he has something he's more comfortable with. - Only two of the caster wheels lock. I thought all four would be locking. This means my dog can still roll the crate around a bit while inside. - The welds are terrible. Nothing is fully welded, only tacked. Now, a dog shouldn't be able to break a tack weld anyway, and if they do break I can reweld it, but it's something I noticed. Update: July 2025 *Full 5 Stars Now* I've had this crate for years and have packed it up for road trips about a dozen times. It's definitely deformed a bit from assembly/disassembly and being ratchet strapped to the roof of my car, but it continues to hold up. My dog has a room now so I don't have to lock him in here, but he's grown to really like this crate and spends time in it voluntarily. Also, Primo Pads is a great product if your dog tears up beds. I got one for this crate and it's been perfect. You can get custom sizes and they zip tie to the crate. Easy to clean too and more comfortable for my dog than wire mesh.

Well worth the price!
This crate is big, strong and sturdy. It opens in front and from the top and has locking wheels. We were able to put a large slab of butchers block on top to create usable space. Both our large dogs have no issues getting in and out and are very comfortable. Locks on top and bottom of the gate close ot up nice and tight. I would (and have) recommend this product.

Inescapable and perfect lol
We have a Cane Corso/Lab cross. Sheโs huge. Sheโs been an escape artist with every crate so far. Incredibly strong dog. They all end up torn apart and misshapen. NOT THIS ONE!!! ๐ Thank you for a sigh of relief.

Great!
My dog likes it because it feels more like a den, then a cage. I like it because it is easy to maneuver when cleaning. My dog cannot escape from it by damaging it. I love it and I know it will last for years.
