Packaged well, arrived early, fit and look great and have LASTED much longer than expected!
Delivered early, packaged well and they fit and look great! Thought I should update this so here it is. I bought these almost a year ago along with some lifts expecting to wear them with the lifts for part of a Halloween costume and then ditching them. Well Halloween came and went and I am still wearing these daily and they are holding up great! I have pretty much run the gamut with these, walking, running, climbing, snow, ice, mud, rain, hot pavement, hot sand, salt water... They are holding up great and the traction is excellent! They do get a little stiff the next day at times depending on how wet they are when I take them off but they quickly relax to the perfect fit for me after I have them on for a few minutes. These totally surprised me for such a reasonably priced boot. If you buy these and are having problems getting them to fit right try this. Put on a pair of shorts and the type of socks you usually wear (socks are important, shorts are just to keep pant legs out of the way for the initial fit). Put the boots on and zip them up, THEN do the laces until they feel right and walk around the room a bit to make sure. Adjust as necessary and enjoy :) Was paid nothing for this review, just a happy customer!

My favorite boots
I ordered the Tan ones by accident (oops) but I love them anyway. First boot I have ever owned that:A) Fit and felt good. I like to wear these, they don't make my feet hurt and they fit really well.B) Are WATERPROOF as advertised. Walked through creeks and puddles in these. Stood in a creek while helping build a bridge. didn't get my feet wet.C) Zippers on boots are the best thing ever. The boot even has a little velcro bit that let's you keep it kinda secure and protected. The other side of the zipper is a waterproof bit that folds up nice and isn't uncomfortable.D) Laces that are dexent quality. Lots of boots I have owned had laces that frayed and wore after a bit. These haven't so far and the boot feels pretty new.My only complaint was that they smelled weird when I got them, that I ordered tan (I wanted black...) and that they took a bit longer than I'd have liked to break in. Fantastic boots. Oh! And they're pretty good in the cold!

Pretty good for daily use
They run a little large but other than that, these boots are absolutely amazing. If you happen to read this review, please, search no further and just purchase these boot. I have tried many high dollar brands of combat boots and none stand up to these 50 dollar HQ's. I work out side all day on a very rocky ranch. These provide nice ankle support and arch support. Waterproof too! Im on my fourth pair while these only last me about a year before the fabric breaks or the rubber soles give out completely.Update after only a few months. These are not the same quality as old ones. I think these boots are great for the money but not for everyday working people. I am a surveyor and so I use these 10 hours a day, usually in rocky hill country of Texas. I expected at least a year out of the boots because that’s what I used to get from them. This latest pair have no tread after 4 months of use. (I’ve had like 5-6 of these) Oh well.

Great boots.
Very comfortable lightweight boot. I've been trudging along in mud and puddles that have covered my ankles and I have yet to get my socks wet. As far as wear and tear, I've only worn them two weeks and they're holding together just fine.UPDATE!!!!!! It's been 3 years since I first purchased these boots. I'm ordering another pair when I get my next COVID check so I'll be ready for work. I am a truck driver for construction sites hauling dirt, gravel and asphalt etc. I also haul semi loads of scrap metal to industrial scrap yards, garbage and demolition materials to landfills. These boots have seen it all. I have worn these boots at least 6 days a week for 3 years, for work and just everyday wear and the inside is finally wearing out to the point they are uncomfortable. The soles have just a little bit of the nubs left. The zippers still work like the day I bought'm. I literally took them out of the box, put them on and zipped them up 2 years later the laces got caught on something and for the first time I had to tie them. That's right, they were in the same knot they were shipped in until that day. They are STILL waterproof, granted I have spilled on or walked through hydraulic fluid, oil, you name it so that might help. BEST BOOTS I HAVE EVER BOUGHT.

Zippers are Crap
Bought these a few months ago, Knew my Bates were going to need replacement. Hadn't worn them yet as I was doing some painting around the firehouse. They were comfortable for about 4 days of wear.....Then the Zipper fell apart at the bottom. Very Cheaply made. Not worth it.

Great boots great value
Have used these as my only boots for work and hunting for 10 years. My retirement gig was a special needs bus driver in Michigan so that meant hot summers and cold icy winters out working a chair lift and any bus driver will tell you about bus cold floors. My feet are never wet, and by adding sheepskin insoles and good socks they are never cold in winter.I buy a new pair every fall to pass footwear inspection and the soles last a full year on cement and are still good enough I pass them on to a nephew who wears them till they fall apart a few years later.

good boots ..for a while
Very comfortable, but i don't know if they are meant for hard use. After a few months of working with these boots the inside lining by the heel in pulling out. They still look good and the outside of the boot is holding up well. not very waterproof anymore.(Please keep in mind I beat the snot out of my boots)
