SERENDIBEAUTY SPARKLING MASK PACK - 3 pack

It can't be just me, but maybe it is 🤷‍♀️ - omg! This sparkling mask pack BURNED on my face so bad! And I mean bad. You're supposed to put 1 syringe full of whatever it is on your face. Rub it around and then put the provided sheet mask on. This is where my face felt like it was melting off my face. The syringe stuff didn't burn. Didn't feel like anything. Its kinda thick and you get a ton for each use, way more than you need. The sheet mask looks ordinary unassuming and innocent. But its not I promise you that. The first time I put it on (I did this a few times bc im nothing if not a trooper) I ripped it right back off and shoved my face in the mirror looking for chemical burns. Not even kidding. It hurt that bad! But there was no evidence on my face of what just happened.. As soon as I pulled the mask off it stopped burning. The second time I put it on I felt bubbling. My mind convinced me my melting skin was so hot it was bubbling underneath this mask so I again ripped it right off and looked in the mirror for the horror I was sure I'd see. But again, nothing. I wasn't brave enough to try it a third time. My face isn't even red, but im not exaggerating that this burns. A warning would've been beautiful. But all I'm seeing is that tingling and redness is normal. Not even the other 2 reviewers have commented on burning.. So now idk if its just me? Or if that INSANE burning is normal. Leaving my review at a neutral 3 til my mom comes over and I make her try this to see if i'm the problem. Will let ya know 🙃

I'm all for trying out new and upcoming beauty items, especially facial cleanses, serums, creams, and beauty masks.Personally, my skin has always been a bit on the sensitive side. I try to stick with ingredients that are natural, nothing too crazy fragrant, and ones that have good health benefits that are also hypoallergenic.I was a bit leery to try this out because it didn't have anything on the packaging that said it was hypoallergenic. It also listed some weird ingredients such as Sang-Hwang Mushroom Extract that I've never heard of, but decided to give it a try.FIRE. HOT BURNING FIRE ON MY FACE. At first it started out as a little warm almost tingly like, but once I got this syringe of liquid hot death on my face I knew I wasn't making it the full 20 minutes. Nope, I had to get this stuff off my face immediately. It took several minutes to rinse it off of my skin because of the super weird sticky texture, and I wont lie, I was a bit panicky about it. I thought for sure I was going to have a severe breakout or reaction to it. Thankfully after about an hour, my skin felt fine and was normal again, but I vowed never to it again.My sister however wanted to give it a go, and she absolutely loved it. I guess to each their own. She had fantastic results and her skin was glowing. So its not necessarily that its a bad product because quite frankly, it worked fantastically for her; I just wouldn't recommend it for anyone with super sensitive skin.

You get three syringe looking ampules that are full of gel. You are supposed to put this gel unto your face (it doesn’t indicate dry or wet; I put it on my dried face). I would put a ton of this gel because after putting it on you’re supposed to put on the mask, which doesn’t really fit your face too well ( you get three masks too). As soon as the mask hits the gel you feel a slightly burning feeling on your face; it actually feels nice. And no, my face didn’t get red nor reacted negatively. You leave it on for about 15-20 minutes.One major set back is that to wash this off after application took me a good 20 minutes. It sunk into my pores and I had to really scrub it out to take all that gel out. As the result of this I would not use the other two remaining applications. My face did feel smoother and more clean; but then again, I am unsure if it felt so smooth fro the treatment or from me scrubbing my face for twenty minutes.Not for me.

I have to say I am a fan of Serendi and had to get this to see what this mask pack is all about. It is quite involved to say the least, you get the masks and have to add the serum yourself. One of the syringes has more serum than you really need so you could keep some of it and just apply it later by hand.Other than that you use the mask as usual, clean your face, leave the mask on for about 20 minutes and then wash your face with lukewarm water afterwards. I found that my face was nice and soft, looked and felt great. The mask had a pleasant fragrance that I liked. I had some tingling that I experienced but other than that I had no burning or anything else. Sadly not their best product but still a good product.
