Delta Green: A Night at the Opera is a collection of loose scenariis for the Tabletop Role playing Games Delta Green.If you don't know about it, here's what you need to know : Delta Green is supposed to be a secret government agency dedicated to fight the Unnatural and protect the civilians from its horrors. It has strong ties with the Call of Cthulhu RPG, and to the Lovecraft Stories in General, and can be reminiscent of shows like X Files at times.A Night at the Opera touch different types of horrors, from the "classical" haunted house to the more sci-fi experiments gone wrong, and culminates with a full cosmological menace for the agents.The book is beautifully illustrated and, gamepaly-wise, is really well made and didactic for the game master (called the Handler)I highly recommend it (and the whole Delta Green range of products)

A friend of mine invited me to join his RPG group and play Delta Green. I enjoyed the game so much that I wanted to GM it myself. I bought A Night at the Opera to jumpstart my game by running their 6 premade missions. Such a great purchase.

Yes it was!

I purchased this directly from Arc Dream Publishing at Gen Con 2018. It has a nice assortment of scenarios, with varying levels of lethality. Each can be played as a stand-alone session, or they can be linked together with the timeline provided in the introduction. One very good reason to purchase this is for the classic DG scenario "Music from a Darkened Room." It is one of my favorites, mostly because it shows that the Mythos does not care how much firepower you have. Although these are written for the newest edition of the Delta Green RPG, the stats are fairly system-agnostic and can easily be ported over to Call of Cthulhu RPG. As usual with an Arc Dream product, the illustrations and layout are top-notch with high quality paper and printing.

The adventures inside are great - focused, polished, and offering a wide variety. Fantastic.

The book is awesome, you can’t go wrong with a little Delta green... the issue is more about the delivery... it came from the USA to England in an oversized box with no padding at all, the book has a wave in it and I’m currently pressing it which seems to be working... just a little shocked that this was the condition it arrived in!
