I wouldn’t use “absorbency” But the ear wax clings to the rubber swab heads very well and they are easy to clean. At first I was wary because ya know it’s a reusable swab but after getting the hang of using them and how to work them around in my ears it’s great. I can clean my ears and help the environment! They give you plenty of swabs and so many varieties. The case they come in is small, sturdy, and sleek. This is a wonderful product. Only thing I would worry about it if you have small ear canals don’t use them.

I really wanted to love these because I am a fan of things that are reusable. My main issue with this ones is that it does not absorb the makeup. It just feels like when I try to remove it I am just spreading it all over my eye. What I resorted to do with them is that I take a little bit of tissue paper and wrap it around the white part. It works wonderfully because it absorbs and then I throw the little tissue and wash the swab with soap and water. So if you feel like it too much work and really need something to absorb the material this is not the swab for you. Hope this helps.

I bought these swabs to use for incision site cleaning between gauze changes. They are amazing! They don't have little bits of fluff that could get caught in the skin like cotton swabs. Things that would normally stain (think betadine/iodine) just rinse off under running water, so clean up is easy. The silicon is also non-allergenic. I feel better about using this product since I'm not throwing away hundreds of cotton swabs too. Win-win

The knobby versions are good for ear cleaning and may do a better job than a standard cotton q-tip. They are slightly larger than a cotton q-tip, so they may not work for people with small ear canals.I tried the non-knobby and pointed versions, but they're not really for ear cleaning and I don't wear makeup, so I won't have a chance to test them for that.

I really just ordered the first one I found because I’ve been wanting a reusable qtip for a while... I like the textured one the best, didn’t really see wax from the smooth one. Hot water or soap washes easy if you aren’t weird about touching it. The handle part and the box plastic is pretty flimsy and cheap. Hoping they last since the plastic is not recyclable.

It doesn’t seem to do as good of a job as a cotton one. However, the spikey tip works the best. Easy to clean.

Love these! Great alternative to regular qtips. I really like the textured one for your ears. The other ones for makeup or touching up nail polish don’t work too well in my opinion. There’s nothing for the product to hold onto so it just spreads around on your face

I wanted to love this product as a reusable solution to traditional cotton swabs but they just didn’t work for me. When I used them to clean some eye makeup they didn’t absorb or (at the very least) distribute any product. I used them on nail polish remover to clean up edges - same situation, didn’t do a thing.
