This is the best product for dry or frizzy hair. Does not leave any oily residue. The sprayer is easy to push. Has a very pleasant coconut smell. Leaves hair soft and manageable. Works right away. My hair was breaking off at the roots before using this hair defrizzer and heat protection. It took about 20 days to show some results for me. No more brittle hair due to using this product. I used this Defrizzing spray in combination with "Desert Essence Coconut Shine & Refine Hair Lotion". Works better than some more expensive products. Great value. I would give it higher than a 5-star if I could.

I love this stuff! First of all, it smells divine. Such a light clean coconut scent. Most of the time I find hair products to have an overwhelming strong fragrance, this does not. It leaves no heavy residue in my hair. It's light and not sticky or greasy. Only complaint is I wish it got rid of frizzy static in my hair a little bit more. Overall, this is the best over anything I've tried!

Ingredients: I’ve been looking for a new heat protectant product that contained natural ingredients. Most heat protecting products contain cancer causing chemicals (carcinogens), ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate or parfum (fragrances) where the ingredients are not made available to the consumer, which means the product could contain harmful chemicals. Desert Essence doesn’t contain any harmful chemicals, and they certify that their frangrances are safe to the consumer. I have included pictures of the ingredients. Performance: I used this product to straighten my hair today, and was satisfied with the end result. For reference I have thick, course, naturally wavy hair, and live in Texas (so hot & humid). While the scent is a bit overwhelming when initially sprayed on my hair, after straightening, I felt the strong coconut aroma dissipated. While I don’t think the product made my hair feel softer, I do think it was less frizzy, and it gave my hair a nice shine. Long term wise I’m not sure how well this product would protect my hair from heat styling products, while I didn’t notice any new breakage after straightening, my ends felt dry. Realistically I will be using this product in combination with a hair serum in the future, so hopefully the combination will help protect my hair. The pictures included are the originals, and have not been enhanced. Conclusion: Overall I would highly recommend this product. While i have used heat protectants that leave the hair softer, and offer better protection, I feel the potential healthy risks associated with the chemicals used is not worth the end result. This product provides good results, using natural, safe, ingredients.

Great stuff! Refreshes my curls every morning and leaves my hair soft and natural looking…not crunchy and stiff. Smell is light and pleasant. I don’t travel without it. Highly recommend.

I have been looking for a product to put on dry hair to keep frizz down, and up until this point, I have not been able to find anything that really worked without weighing it down or looking oily. But, Desert Essence does a fantastic job! It's lightweight, doesn't look oily and keeps frizz at a minimum. It has a soft pleasing scent as well. I would recommend this product.

This would be a decent defrizzer for people with just mild flyaways and frizziness. It did not work for my wavy, thick, very frizzy hair. As a heat protectant, it was okay. It made my hair feel softer after heat styling, but I had to spray a whole bunch of it, so the bottle didn't last long. The scent is nice and coconutty but doesn't last very long. I ended up only using it when I air-dried my hair. It didnt prevent much frizz, but it made the bottom half of my hair softer. I personally won't be purchasing again but if your frizziness isn't extreme like mine then it's probably a good value for the price (Mine was only $3).

I only use like 3-4 sprays in my wet hair and when I wake up in the morning my hair is super soft and shiny. I also only use it on the length so it doesn't make my roots oily. I think it smells pretty good - like coconuts and natural oils. The scent doesn't really last on my hair though. I also like that this protects against heat damage. I straighten my hair 5/7 days per week, so this is huge for me. It's also vegan which is a must. Overall I really like it!

This wks great on dry frizzy hair for after showers

La cosa più difficile da trovare è stato,senza dubbio,un protettore calore e districante spray dopo shampoo,dopo una breve ricerca qui su Amazon,mi sono imbattuta in questo prodotto,l'ho voluto acquistare subito. A distanza di svariati mesi posso dire di essere pienamente soddisfatta! Bastano pochi spruzzi,districa perfettamente svolgendo un'eccellente azione anti crespo,ha un profumo di cocco buonissimo! Questo profumo persiste anche dopo l'asciugatura. L'unico dubbio che rimane è se protegga veramente o no dal calore,io l'ho usato anche con la piastra e non ho notato capelli rovinati. Excellent product! It’s so hard to find a decent vegan heat protecting spray, it’s very gentle on my hair and leaves it feeling happy and healthy after blow drying and straightening. Plus it smells amazing! Have ordered from this seller many times and they are always very speedy with dispatch and delivery!

Bin sehr zufrieden damit. Der Duft ist angenehm und riecht dezent nach Kokosnuss, wobei davon nichts mehr zu riechen ist, sobald die Haare getrocknet wurden. Außerdem sind sie auch geschmeidiger und deutlich weniger frizzig. Ein Wundermittel gegen strohige Haare ist es leider nicht, das sollte man nicht erwarten. Bezüglich des Kommentares über Polyquaternium: Polyquaternium ist ein synthetischer Stoff und daher vergleichbar mit Silikon. In der Kosmetik wird es verwendet, um einen (Schutz-)Film über Haare oder die Haut zu legen (daher die Antifrizzwirkung und Schutz vor Hitze). Speziell Polyquaternium-11 ist (bisher) nicht bekannt, schädlich zu sein. Rückstände von Acrylamid wurden hauptsächlich in Polyquaternium-7 nachgewiesen, was nicht in dem Produkt enthalten ist. Natürlich ist es dennoch ein synthetischer Stoff und kann daher auf längerem Zeitraum ähnlich schlecht für die Haare sein, wie es Silikon ist. Aber wen das nicht stört, sollte dieses Spray zumindest einmal ausprobiert haben. Einen direkten Vorher-Nachher-Effekt sieht und fühlt man schon bei der ersten Anwendung und ich bin sehr glücklich mit dem Kauf.

Chouette produit ça sent plutôt bon, c'est l'un des seuls sprays protecteurs de chaleur à être naturel. Il y a très peu de marques qui proposent ce genre de produit en bio. Rend les cheveux brillants et doux.
