I wish I had paid attention to the split cake size. I didn't realize there was not a standard for the size of a split cake. So that was My mistake but I wish they were bigger split cakes..great product!

I had hired a face painter who canceled last minute for a school event so I did some research and found this product and did it myself. It did not disappoint, I have never done facepainting before and these made me look like I’ve been doing it for years! The quality is AMAZING and it lasts for hours, no cracking or flakiness, it was just perfect. I love this product.

For the price I was hoping for more of each cake color. It is very small and I face paint for my job. They won't last too long. The rainbow cake is a little too subdued in color and the customers usually ask to have other colors added. So I ordered something else to replace using that cake color. Just wish you got more for your money. I do love them still.

I think this is a very nice palette for when you are on the go and don't have space to take all your paints. Or when you are just starting out and want to try a lot of different colors, without paying too much. The cups/containers were a little bit smaller than I thought they would be, but with the width a little bit smaller than a regular splitcake container they actually have a perfect fit: still wide enough for a 1#, but not too wide for a 3/4#. With a 3/4 # flat brush you can still pick up all the colors in the container. The variety of colors in the palette is really great, no bright neons, but there are colors for every purpose. White and black are good opaque. I tested all the colors on my arm first and removed them again with soap, water and a dry make-up cloth. No stains visible, not even for the darker colors. Only things I liked a little bit less: 1. the red in the 'flame' split cake (yellow/orange/red/black) turned out a little bit pink on the skin, I'd prefer a deep red instead. 2. The pallet goes with two small brushes. There are no sizes on the brushes, but they resemble a round #1, and a flat 1/8#. I don't know why the small flat brush is in there, I would prefer a much wider flat brush so you can really use the split cakes.

This palette is great! The smaller size is perfect because I purchased it to take with me when I travel. The only problem I had is that the individual paint pans don't fit super tight in the holder so they wanted to pop out when I was loading my brush. A minor detail. The black works wonderful for line work, but I had more trouble with the white (whites in general tend to get goopy). The colors are beautiful and very functional. If this was the only palette I had, I could paint a huge variety of designs with it. While the colors are very vibrant, If you are looking for super bright neons, this is not the palette you want. The paint goes on the skin well and washes off really good. No staining. I really like the fact that these paints are gluten free as I am non-celiac gluten sensitive. There are two brushed included with this palette. The round brush will work good for line work, but the small flat brush is a bit of a mystery to me as it is not a size that is very usable. Two sizes of round brushes would've made more sense. If you purchase this palette, you will want to purchase a 3/4" flat brush if you don't already have one as that is the brush this palette is designed to work with. I would highly recommend this palette.

colors are not good compared to value. It is not that bright and also it stays for 1 hour only. box is nice but it does not have good smell also.

I bought these for my daughter as she is very artistic and started face painting. It was a hit at my granddaughter’s birthday party. Now the neighborhood kids come by daily to get their faces painted.

Paint quality is very good. Pigment is great. BUT there is not much paint here. I am a professional face painter and have had various portable pallets. I know the industry standards and this is small. The pans are very hard to hold and not make a mess of yourself but they don’t stay attached in the pallet either so you can’t activate them in the pallet. The paint is a lovely creamy consistency but it also gets used up quite quickly as some creamy paints do. With the tiny size, these just don’t last. The larger cakes may be great, but they also have less product than other brands. 25 vs 32 gms and they use up quick.Again, the paint is good but I won’t be buying any more unless they increase the amount of product.

Bin mit dem Produkt zufrieden.Aber einen Stern habe ich abgezogen, weil ich mich ein wenig geändert habe über den Versand. Ich habe es bestellt als Versandkosten frei, musste bei der Annahme des Packet Farachtkosten in Wert von 8,06€ bezahlen. Das fand ich nicht ok.
