great music but not a partiularly exciting spectacle
Love the music, but the stage lighting is rather dark and a limited range of camera angles means it's not particularly engaging to watch.By all means put it on in the background and listen while you do something else, because visually you won't be missing much!

FOUND IT!!!
My husband and I watched this performance on TV years ago and I have been trying to find it for the last few years on DVD. Even putting all the detail in that I knew, e.g. Robert Plant, Band of Joy, Roundhouse, etc., I just could not find it! After watching an RP interview/documentary on TV recently I decided to search again. By accident, I saw something on RP's Wikipedia page that led me into various threads and WOWEE, I found it!!! I would never have known I had the right thing as the title - Metropolis - just doesn't give any indication of the content. It's fabulous, if you remember the Electric prom sessions you most certainly won't be disappointed watching this again (over and over.....). A 5 star must buy *****

Sheer class
I had this on my Sky Box ever since it was shown so to get the DVD and not worry about the loss of the digital recording is reassuring. A fantastic band, the chemistry between Percy, Parry and Buddy is brilliant, the setlist impeccable. One to play over and over.

ROBERT PLANT AND THE BAND OF JOY, IN ONE CRACKING GIG IN LONDON !
This is a great concert from London's Roundhouse in 2010. The band is great throughout, Robert Plant on equally great form. The DVD is very high quality in both picture and sound. A worthy addition to any Robert Plant fans collection, the version of 'Rock n Roll' is more than worth the price of this excellent set.
