HDMI to Composite AV Converter for Laptop, Blu-Ray, NVIDIA Shield Android TV, PS4, PS3 and Other HDMI Devices - Use with Old TVs That do not Have HDMI Input

This product does exactly what it says it will. I haven't tested it with a Blu-ray movie, but we bought it to connect an HDMI Blu-ray player/surround system to a projector that only had composite input. It plays DVD's perfectly fine on a 100+" screen. We also haven't plugged a game console into it yet, but that wasn't the primary purpose. I'm sure it will do just fine with that. The only concern is blu-rays with their handshake requirement via HDMI, but if that doesn't work, that wasn't the main reason for purchasing this product.

It will sometimes time out or freeze and loose the picture and must be restarted usually after 60 to 90 minutes.

I bought the product to use as an intermediary between my PS4 and an old CRT TV, and after tweaking the Playstation's video settings, the picture was great. The only problem was that the power adapter connection was a bit loose, so if it got jostled, I'd lose the video output (which is of course not a fun problem to have when gaming). I solved it by just taping the USB connector to the adapter. Other than that, it's worked fine for the past year or so I've used it.

Product does not work. Connected to the Blu-Ray player and I only get small segments of video and no audio with a rainbow screen in between. Very disappointed.

When it works, its awesome, but lately it has periods of not working. The TV screen goes green and the sounds stops. I have to turn off the tv and unplug the cable from my laptop and let it sit for a few minutes, then hook it all up again and it usually starts working again. But its getting to be a hassle to go through this. No idea why its doing this. Maybe the converter box gets too hot but sometimes it does this even just after a fe wminutes of use.I might just return this and get a Fire Stick.Bleiden I am not happy with this product.

Worked great on my son's old TV for a converter for his PS4, was easy to hook up and he was playing in minutes. Would recommend.

Worked like a charm. The picture isn't HD by any means, but it's an old TV. I just needed something for the guest room to watch movies & it does the trick! Much cheaper than buying a new TV!
