Worst text book I have ever seen
I also had to have this text for class, I just finished the semester. If this is the case for you, then I imagine reviews are rather a moot point. All college textbooks have errors, it is the nature of the beast. I get that. This one however.. I have never seen so many inaccuracies and mistakes in a text. Blueprints with incorrect measurements. Repeated or incorrect answers on tests, in every single chapter. Very bad book. All I can recommend is, if you must have this book for class try to rent it, or buy one used. When class is over, it is primarily useless. There are a couple of charts in the book for machine threads, and other standard size charts that can be useful, however this kind of information can be obtained from other sources that are much more reliable. Not worth keeping. Thomas E. Proctor, J. David Holloway, and Jonathan F. Grosse, you should be ashamed of yourselves! A college text book indeed. And for Machine Trades no less, where precision is so very important. I personally would be embarrassed to have my name on a "Printreading" book with inaccurate prints....

Needed for class
I still haven't read much of this book at this time, class runs until April, but this seems to be an awful lot like a metallurgy book I used this summer, so I believe it will be good for my needs.
