We bought the first one because our rescue cat ripped the food bag in the middle of the night trying to get extra food. Works perfectly, cat proof, rolls nicely, and my kids can easily open when they feed the cat. We bought a second recently for a big bag of rice that I didn’t want sitting on the floor, and again, works perfectly. Keep food off the ground when you purchase huge bags of things, and keeps out pets and vermin.

I really like this storage container! I had been using just a bucket w/ screw top lid and it wasn't big enough so I went on the search for something that would hold more, but wasn't bulky, was easy to move around/had good maneuverability, and looked decent in my kitchen. This was the perfect option for what I was looking for! I like that it's slim-lined, not bulky, but holds much more than my bucket did! My picture shows how full it is after dumping a brand new 15lb bag of Iams minichunks dogfood...Because it is more narrow at the bottom and widens greatly at the top, it still has about 1/3 room left at the top so it should hold 22lbs as it says. This is the perfect size for us - we don't need any bigger. I left re-usable shopping bags on the floor in the background & put the container next to our kitchen garbage for reference so people can see how this measures up for size. It is the 28qt size that holds 22lbs. The 4 wheels are easy to pop on and they glide nicely and rotate 360 so it's definitely easy to maneuver around & move wherever you need it. The lid has an airtight lid lock which seems sturdy & tight...I can't smell the dogfood so that is a good sign to me that it's airtight! I like that it is "clear" but "smoke" colored so I can see the level of dogfood in bright light but I can't see thru it completely so it still looks nice in my kitchen. Overall, I am really happy with my purchase. I'm not sure why people complain about the size when it clearly lists the dimensions, how much it holds and there are several size options to choose from. I needed something that would hold 15lbs of dogfood so I bought the appropriate size & it holds exactly how much they state. It's a great storage container for pet food purposes and I'm sure many other uses as well!

This is the 3rd pet food storage container that I now have purchased. All 3 in various sizes and are currently in use. I like the options of sizes offered and the overall quality of this container. It works perfectly and is of good quality.

I buy a 22 pound bag of the Purina indoor cat food and it did not fit in this container. I usually just cut the top of the bag off and slip it in but the bag was somehow too bulky for this one? Unfortunately it is non-returnable so I will have to go with a larger size. It does seem very sturdy and I love the smoked look paired with the wheels!

Have had this container for about 2 weeks & am very happy with it keeping the food fresh. Do as the others have suggested & keep the pet food in the original bag - that way the interior stays clean & no accumulation of oils in container.I did feel the container was a bit pricey so I just ordered one when I really need 2 more. I remembered seeing pet food containers at the Wal Martians & thinking they were about sixteen dollars. Went back there & looked at their pet containers, they had a different brand, one with a blue lid & compared to IRIS brand, theirs had a flimsy lid & several reviews said the lid was not air tight. That was enough for me to come back to Amazon & put in an order for another IRIS container. I intend to purchase another one in the coming weeks.Upon arrival of my IRIS, I was totally disappointed because I did not think an 18 pound bag of food would fit in there. Well, it was a tight squeeze since I just left the food in the bag & stuffed it in there. But the lid snapped easily & it has been on the back porch where ants are abundant, but so far no ants or other critters have been seen in the container.Another thing, they are compact & don't take up much room - taller & slim, rather than being wide & short.Update on the Iris containers - It has been a couple of months & I now have 3 of these containers, one for cat food, one for dog food & one for bird seed. The containers are still air tight & no bugs or staleness of stored product has occured. I believe they come in different sizes for larger bags for whatever you are wanting to store.Don't settle for second best at the Wal Martians, you will be disappointed.

This dog food storage container is wonderful. It holds a large bag of food and seals tightly to keep the food fresh. I like that I can move it easily on the wheels. Also, the container is sturdy with an easy to open lid.

I've used this to store my cat's food and it's worked perfectly. It's held up through hail and snow. It's definitely worth every dollar I paid!

I love this storage bin for our dog food. It holds a lot and is quite durable. I like that it has the clasp to keep it closed. No dog food smell when it’s closed and it keeps the food fresh. I like that it had wheels to make it easy to move for when I clean around it. Would recommend!

I bought 3 of these as dog/cat food, and kitty litter containers. When they arrived, one handle was broken. I contacted the seller and it was replaced the same day.They are perfect for keeping pets out of the food, great size, and I love that I can roll them rather than having to lift and carry.I wish they came with scoops, but otherwise they are great for my needs.
