NoSox Men's Wino

These shoes are incredibly comfortable and very easy to slip off and on. They truly are like walking on a cloud and they look great too! They fit true to size, in fact whether or not you intend to wear them with socks may make a difference in terms of what size to get. I have a size 10 pair that feel great with no socks, but a bit snug with socks. I also have pair of 10 1/2's and they fit perfectly with socks but a bit loose without. They look great with or without socks, by the way. My only complaint is the rather uninspired and even boring colors that are available for this "fun" shoe. Taupe? Really? I have a pair in black and navy and just ordered the deep sea blue. Wish they made it in red.

When I bought these, I also bought a $14 and a $7 pair of similar, "no name" shoes. No question about it, I can genuinely say I like the cheaper shoes better. Everything the same size as I've worn for decades, the NoSox brand doesn't fit UNLESS I WEAR SOCKS. They're apparently made a little large. Odd for a shoe that's apparently designed and marketed to wear without socks.It also seems like the cushioning on the soles of the NoSox shoes is not as good as the cheaper shoes. I get sore balls of my feet wearing these shoes for more than an hour or so. But I can wear the $7 winos all day long, including on hard tile floors and concrete pool decking, without the same discomfort.Surely all these shoes, no matter what the brand, are made in Indonesia or China or wherever. Likely on the same machines in the same factory. Paying 5x for the one with the marketing name designed to make us feel good doesn't seem prudent in this case.

As far as sizing goes, my experience is that these shoes run longer than most. Note that I ordered the taupe color and since I've experienced some shoe brands that have size variation from color to color, I wanted to make it clear my experience is only with this shoe in the color taupe. I wear a size 11 in most other shoes, but needed a size 10 in these. I only plan on wearing these shoes without socks, so size 10 gave me a comfortable, sock-less fit. My foot width is D and the width of these shoes in compatible with that width. When reviewing shoes, I think we can all make better online sizing decisions if we all state the usual size we wear in most shoes and then compare that size to the size of the shoes being reviewed.These are definitely summer casual shoes as they consist of a flexible, airy, mesh body on a decent sole. The sole seems fairly sturdy and thick enough such that a piece of glass or similar object isn't going to puncture through it. As far as color goes, I'll say the "Taupe" color is actually a little darker in person compared to what the pictures show. I think the color looks better in person. It's more like a tan color.I'll update this review later after walking around in these for a few months. I wanted to add my sizing experience, so we can all save time.

If you have been buying Summer weight shoes, these are among the best alternative. There are others on the market which are similar, but double the price. Nice memory cushion insole, pretty good arch support and you can get them wet without concern. Please note that they run a little large (size 13 for me). Thus, I wear them either with short or regular socks. Without the socks, I feel like they would be somewhat loose. So, if you are between sizes, go DOWN, not up in choices of sizes.

Absolutely love these shoes! It is my second pair and they are even better now. Very light, comfortable, the sole is just a perfect mix of soft under the feet and hard to handle a good day of walking. It is breathing, fresh, perfectly adjusted around the foot. Not too tight, not too loose! Seriously the no sox shoes are an amazing product for the summer time or under hot weather. I will buy more in the future and I know my feet will be very grateful!

I can only describe these shoes..made by NoSox. Wino? I havejust bought my third pair. Grey, Black, Taupe. Thinking about theblue. I stand on my feet all day..usually 9 hours at the time. For35 years I have been looking for a pair of shoes that actuallyprovide maximum comfort throughout the shoe...Bottom, topand sides. These WINO are like putting on a comfortable pair ofsocks. Extremely light weight. The most important thingto me is the way the sole is made. The elephant on the backof the shoe sort of explains the concept of the way the soleis made...Most shoes seem to support greatwhile standing perfectly straight up...but I bend up and downall day and as I move, the extra support that extends aroundthe perimeter of the sole is just enough to support me inany angle I am standing . Another plus..they breathe. I I I These are the only shoes I wear now..My legs and feet feel about50 percent better than they did before wearing theseshoes. Stylish enough for me....with or without socks.. You WILL NOT find a more comfortable pair ofshoes. I turn 60 in September and believe meI have been through alot of shoes.

These were very comfortable for the first 8 hours of a two day summer Disneyland trip until Splash Mountain. The shoes hot and wet and the inserts came unglued. Without inserts their soft, but have zero arch support and it killed my feet. That said with proper inserts, these are my most comfortable pair of shoe, and I like really they way they look.

I bought these several years ago, and needed a new pair. The old size ten fit perfectly. The new size ten feels like it is a whole size larger. I wish I returned them but I had already worn them a few times, so didn't bother to hassle with a return I tired wearing them with socks, but it defeats the purpose of the shoe. They fit way larger than they should that is why only 3 stars. If they fit like they did previously, then 5 stars. I do like these very much. Very comfortable and durable. I would recommend these, but be careful about the sizing.
