It’s a waterproof bag if you know what you’re doing.
So - I bought this bag for paddle boarding this summer. It fits the bill nicely.If you wrap the flap 4-5 times and secure the clip it stays nice and waterproof. I’ve held it underwater like this for a minute with nothing inside and it stayed bone dry. It’s decent enough for light use. I’d probably want something else if I was doing white water.It has two straps. One to secure the waterproofed portions post-wrapping and another to clip it to your kayak/board/raft which is thoughtful.Good use of 20 bucks!

Use this all the time
I having been using this to keep my camera dry while kayaking and so far it has worked just as expected keeping the contents dry. It has not been under water, but lot's of water from the paddle. No problems as long as the instructions are followed.

Handy dandy dry bags
I got three sizes of these bags (5L, 10L and 20L) and they're all great. I took them on a kayaking trip and they kept our stuff dry. Reasonably priced, good quality materials, fun color options, sizes for every occasion, arrived on time. What more could you ask for?

Seems good but kinda heavy
I got this hoping for something I can just toss in my backpack when travelling and use if it suddenly starts pouring - but its a lot more of a heavy duty bag than I thought. Seems to be very waterproof and I'll definitely use in the summer floating along the river, but I'll need to find another option for emergency backpack protection.

awesome bag, great price. perfect for day trips
We bought this for a trip to the Caribbean. It worked perfectly. Will buy another for next trip. Seals up very well. At first I was reluctant to swim with this, but after seeing the quality of it, we used it all the time we snorkeled or swam to shore. As it says it floats and really does not get that much in the way. very pleased with this purchase.

As described, 10L is more than enough room!
Definitely worth the money! More than half the price of a 'name brand' dry bag but works just as well. Had it all day this past weekend on the water and not a single drop entered.
