My grandsons hats that you get with outfits were starting to get too small for his head. I purchased these on 6-9 months for on the cooler fall days. It fit nice and still fits him for the warmer winter days. It’s nice for in the car. It isn’t too warn that he will overheat like the thicker ones. But for outside I definitely recommend the thicker hats.
