I use this as we potty train my 3 year old and he likes it. Great book to help understand potty training.

I thought the book was cute. My almost 3 year old likes it just okay. It is a little wordy for him. Maybe it should be a board book and the flaps need to be easier to open.

My nephew loves this book!

We bought this book for our granddaughter for her first birthday. She read it a few times. Now that she is two and understanding the signs for going to the potty, she has picked it up every day and given to her mommy to read. She is learning to say when she has to go and most times can go when prompted, but not always just yet. We love reading this book to her when she is at our house. She brings it along because we help her on her potty training journey as well. Sweet adorable little book with lots of flaps to keep her engaged. Well done!

5 stars for the seller. But I completely regret buying this book! Half the book is what NOT TO DO with the potty, with pictures of the kids rolling the potty like a wheel, playing with it in the muddy yard, etc. This book introduced horrible ideas of misusing the potty and I think it’s completely useless for teaching how to use the potty.

Love this series of books, but slightly disappointed in "What's a Potty For." It talks about how the potty is not for playing with, but then shows the children playing with it and carrying it around a lot. Seems to be mixed messaging me. Wish it was more informational, like the toothbrushing book.
