I've been looking for different color ink pens. these work very well but are the same as the majority (on amazon) of paint markers that come out of China. the color is bla on several markers. The problem is that the companies' have been advertising the markers like they are different by distorting the photograph of the paint markers leading me to buy at least 5 boxes that i didn't want and so i returned them. These particular paint markers are great in smoothness and "flow" of paint. always a pain to prime them all, but then you can enjoy these for quite some time. (i am still using this type that i purchased in December) so a GREAT FIRST CHOICE of paint markers, but i have to move on to find colors that would thrill a mermaid . :)

I've been trying for well over a year to find a paint that would bind to the things I needs. Some are plastics. Some are metals. Absolutely nothing worked. These do!!!If you're unsure about this here the process I went through:- I bought model paints for figurines. This was costly and didn't work.- I went to several hardware stores. Also costly, basically speculative, and did not lead to a productive outcome either. In this case, the problem was that each paint purchase was a "test". Usually $5 or $10 dollars a time. Reading around doesn't help much either. You'd think having a good foundation in chemistry might, but nah. Not really. Most "materials" have some other stuff "over them" that makes paints difficult to buy for. With these pens that problem went away. I'm so relieved!When this product claims 'binds to anything' (paraphrasing) they're not kidding.My only caution to you is keep them a fair bit further away from the heat source your using to dry whatever you're working with, too. That should be obvious, but as well made as they are I got thoughtless and ended up having to unplug one. That's not a fault of the pen. I did it to myself. Just a word of caution to those that get hyper focused.Wonderful product. Can't say enough good about it.

The pens work really well. Very fine tip and solid. I had one pen that exploded when I opened it for the first time. So I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement with no problems. Thank you!

Wish it dried faster. I prefer fast drying paint pens but they're still good pens.

I recently started making art with alcohol ink and really liked people's techniques where they added some designs over the alcohol ink with an acrylic paint pens. I initially purchased a larger tipped set with less colors, which worked well for some of the larger detail but I really needed a finer tip set, especially for my smaller pieces.This set comes with 18 colors which have an extra fine tip of 0.7mm. Each pen is individually wrapped in plastic in case of leak. After opening, I hold the pen with the tip upward and press the tip down to release the air. This is suppose to keep the paint from spraying or spewing out when first used.After that, it did not take long for the paint to start flowing down. The consistency is amazing and the coverage is really nice. I initially took the white paint pen and doodled on the box. The box is black and glossy. It covered well. I tried wiping it with water and it did not budge once it was dried. It will scrape off so a clear coat is necessary to protect anything that will be rubbed against or touched.I am very pleased with my purchases and will purchase again when these run out.

PROS- I have been wanting to purchase painter markers for so long & Im so glad I finally did!! I simply love using these Painters they provide me with a simple, easy & smooth application every time & best part they dry really fast & small enough for school aged kids to easily use & do great for all sorts of projects that need filling in or touching up on. I also noticed how much more vibrant the colors turned out to be once applied to my projects because the final pigments ended up being way brighter than what was shown on the pen packagingCONS- One Thing I did notice was that some of the colors were more watery which made the paint more runny which caused color bleedingWhich made it harder to apply & to stay on & created a few mess ups when paint did drip down to other area's that we're finishedI would recommend this product to others who are considering purchasing these for their projects as I will definitely be ordering these again
