Which is closer to the original: this one or the retro edition?

If you're comparing this one to the Retro Edition, it would seem that product is based on the 1967 edition of Candy Land. There were 3 versions before these 2, 1949, 1950s, and 1962. Which one is closer to the original? I think that's a little subjective. I'd recommend searching the web for images of each of the year's editions and comparing the graphic styles for yourself.
