OK for standing up all day
I ordered these as I have a 2nd job where I'm on my feet from 6 to 12 hours a shift. I wear them under trousers or tights.

i got these as i have varicose veins and I was worried about a 6 hour flight I was going to have, I wore these and I felt better they were tight but a comfortable tight, highly recommend them

Satisfactory compression for moderate varicose veins/swelling in lower leg
I ordered these in XXL which according to the measurement chart was what I needed which sounded on the large size to me, but in fact they are perfectly sized and in my (unprofessional) opinion the compression is good enough for moderate varicose veins and edema. I have varicose veins behind my right knee which run down the leg and during the day the swelling gets worse so my right leg is almost 1 inch bigger than the left but now wearing these the swelling is much less by the time I take them off at night. I have a sedentary job and don't get the chance to exercise very much. I bought these because I didn't want a pair that covered my feet in the summer, so I'm happy with them so far. A point to note is that I haven't consulted a doctor or a vascular specialist about the suitability of footless compression for the lower leg, so I if you are concerned about varicose veins/swelling of more than 1 inch you should probably seek professional medical advice before purchasing.

These stockings are very good for tired legs and if your sat down for lengths of time. I use it whilst exercising as it helps my legs from aching.

Calf support.
I measured my calf at just under 16" so I bought the XXXL .They are soooo tight it's unbelievable, plus they roll down when I'm walking, that is painful, so I'm going to try not pulling them up so high.That's my reason for 3☆Other than that they are lovely & thick material.My advice to any buyer buy a size up than normal.I've now purchased Zeta.You get what you pay for I guess.
