We looked everywhere for these a while back. My husband is in construction and loves keeping one of these in his nail bag. He uses it several times a day and gave one to each of his coworkers. They love them too. Great for hitting those nails in areas you can't quit get a swing on your hammer.

This Remington 197 "Strike Set" hammer drive pin setting tool comes in handy occasionally for small amounts of light duty fastening. I use it mainly with the Powers brand 3/4" and 1" long hammer drive pins to secure EMT straps to cement block or cinder block walls and sometimes maybe an electrical box here and there. The drive tools plunger retracts so the pin can be inserted into the barrel. Once inserted, you then tap the point of the pin lightly with a hammer to seat the washer in the recess at the bottom. This keeps the pin in place so you can position the tool and set it with your hammer. This tool really isn't something I use every day, but it can sometimes be faster than using a hammer drill and anchors or power drive fastening tool, especially if you only need to set a couple of short pins.
