No problems so far
My order was lost on the first delivery attempt and I had to talk to customer service to get a replacement sent out. I know its not the fault of the seller but it was still annoying to deal with. Anyways, the parts were undamaged and everything was easy to assemble. The instructions were unclear in some parts but that's only because I wasn't reading the text (which cleared up my questions). I was able to assemble the whole thing myself, but I needed help to move it around once it was done. The only part were I had problems assembling it alone was when I was attaching the doors. The build quality is overall nice, but the triangle piece on the top above the doors is not centered. It sticks out to the left by about 2mm which doesn't sound like a lot, but it very easy to see it stick out. You can also clearly see the unfinished back side of the piece. Although it isn't a problem for me because I have it place in a corner flush with the left wall. The piece also doesn't mount level so the gap between the piece and the doors is smaller on the left side than on the right side. It doesn't bother me that much, but it may bother you. The also include a nylon strap to attach it to the wall to prevent tipping, but I really doubt the strength of that strap to hold up a 100 pound wardrobe in the event of an earthquake. Then again if an earthquake is strong enough to tip a 100 pound wardrobe, I doubt I will care about the wardrobe falling. I also find it odd that the provide multiple places to put the shelf but only one place to the clothes rod. I would prefer if the clothes rod was higher so I could put the shelf below it.

Nice looking and good quality
I read all the reviews and a note stating that this item is frequently returned. It was the only product that fit our needs. It is a really good product and a decent price! I’ve assembled Sauder products before and despite comments about assembly problems, we had none. It comes in a HEAVY box. My advice would be definitely 2 people - it’s a large, heavy cabinet and was much easier with 2 people - and place the pieces on cardboard or blanket because it is easily scratched (understandable because of the material). When it was completed, it was perfect. In fact, I wish I’d have remembered to use wood glue on the dowels just in case a cam came loose later. I wasted a couple months deliberating about whether or not to get this based on reviews, because we are very happy with it. If you are not a competent assembler of flat box products, maybe you should skip. You need to follow the directions perfectly - no doubt the reason for some of the crappy reviews. Doors closed evenly, stores a reasonable amount of clothing and neat, clean lines.

Nice looking but really difficult to put together
Im making a bedroom in my house that once was a sunroom. It has windows, a door but no closet. In order to call it a bedroom, you need a closet. So I saw this one and decided to bite the bullet and buy it. It came beautifully packaged and 2 men had to bring it into the house. I'd advise you to pay the extra 9 bucks to have them bring it in unless you are a weight lifter and can bring it in yourself. It ways nearly 150 lbs in the box. So after getting it out of the box which was a feat in itself, I had to call the manufacturer, they respond immediately so that is good. A product is only as good as the service you can get for it. I thought a piece was broken, then immediately replaced it but just to find it was the way it was supposed to be on the drawer side. Now as far as the body is concerned. Not easy to assemble unless you are an experienced cabinet maker. The directions are good, but it is super heavy so that is also difficult to move around to put together. It does go together perfectly until you get to the doors. Then things go down hill. So far I have the doors on it but they make noise closing and opening. It says to adjust screws, we did at least 100 times and nothing is making the noise to stop. So this morning once again i will call the manufacturer and see what I am doing incorrectly. There are 2 of us putting it together. I have bad eyesight and my hubby has mobility issues so that plays a role in our difficulty trying to put it together. There is a video on line showing how it goes together. I'd advise you to watch it. Once I finally get this piece together properly I'll repost. But so far it is a beautiful big closet. I got the ash oak color and it is super nice. Good buy for the bucks.

Worst Amazon Purchase Ever, and I'm Not Exaggerating
If I could give negative stars I would. I bought this product based on the good reviews, but when it arrived there was clearly damage to the package. I opened it up and sure enough, the pieces inside were damaged. I had purchased the Amazon assembly service, and the assembly tech arrived but left because it was clear the unit needed to be replaced. So I processed a return and four days later UPS brought a replacement and took back the old one. (I had to repair the torn cardboard and tape it up, which is 20 minutes I wish I had back.) So the new one arrived and the packaging looked okay. The assembly tech came and opened it up, and said it looked okay, so he proceeded to assemble it. An hour and a half later he said he was done and I came to look at it. The front doors had major gouges in them, and the insides had deep scratches. Along the edges and top corners, there were chipped areas. So now I'm faced with the hassle of trying to get a refund for the wardrobe as well as the cost of the assembly. Plus, the unit is now assembled and I suspect UPS won't take it that way. I'm considering just donating it to the Salvation Army and chalking this up to a hard lesson learned. Let me also say that even if the unit arrived without damage, the materials and finish are extremely cheap. It is made from the lowest grade particle board I've ever seen. If you run your fingers along an unfinished edge, the chips just fall out of the board. The finish is painted on and looks like very cheap dorm-room furniture. Don't waste your time and money on this piece of garbage.
