Lifesaver for new Preschool teacher
I started teaching preschool but without having experience teaching first hand. I felt lost until I saw this book at school. I had to get my own copy so I can reference it every week as I plan my weekly lessons. It is a great reference for newbies. Lots of ideas based on themes, letters, or numbers. While I do not use this daily, it helped get me started and gives me a framework for thematic lessons.

Good ideas, but disorganized
Lots of good ideas and references. However there seems to be no logic to the set up, colors, numbers and letters are scattered all over with no apparent order. However, if you know your topic the corresponding pages will have lots of good ideas to supplement.

Excellent, easy preschool teaching ideas!
This is by far my favorite book for planning preschool lessons! The ideas are simple to execute, usually using items already on hand, and are great for teaching children the concept. The lessons are complete and easy to follow, not a big list of mish-mashed ideas you have to sift through. The book is very user-friendly, and is the one I reach for most often.
