I use these to connect the pump to my tankless water heater and i am hoping they stand up to the vinegar and so far they have and I always make sure to rinse them well.

The Eastman 48371 Braided Stainless Steel Washing Machine Hoses are of high quality, IMO.A couple of suggestions: if time allows, remove from packaging, and gently straighten (or hangvertically overnight) to relax the curl.I find that making sure the "o" ring is clean, and seated properly, then hand-tightening, and usingchannel-lock pliers to gradually snug (emphasis on gradually), then check the tightness the next day (after the 'o' ring compresses a little)- will prevent any leaks.

Very easy to install, replacing the rubber hoses. Unlike rubber, these should not rupture. Cost was good, not great.

Installed per manufacturer instructions and had zero leaks. Highly recommend.

I'll be buying another pair of these in five years

I was replacing the exact same hoses that I bought 15 years ago and those worked flawlessly and really still looked brand new but why take a chance on a flood in the laundry room . These are a really high quality beautifully made product .

Everyone should replace their old rubber hoses with these. It may save you from a flooded laundry area.

Build quality of this is way beyond better than the normal rubber hose I had. No leaks.
