I just bought a second set of these. I have two exceptionally comfortable Lazy Boy (Brand) chairs with a tilt mechanism. This tilt mechanism increases the difficulty for people to arise from the chairs, as the front of the "rocker" tilts virtually to the floor upon arising. I phoned the always helpful Lazy Boy offices in Monroe, MI., and was told, that given the design of these chairs, they cannot easily be retrofitted to remove the "tilt" mechanism.While researching on Amazon for a fix, I came across these risers, and other competitive products. In addition to being beautiful, these risers were easy to install, exceedingly sturdy, and very stable. Presto! My excessive "tilt" issue is solved, AND, the rocking feature of my two Lazy Boy Recliners has essentially been preserved, but now with a "governor", or "stop" to ease standing up for taller, or, more elderly visitors.I did purchase a competitor's set for one of the chairs for height reasons, but, have decided to instead purchase a second set of these risers. They are far more attractive for a family room Lazy Boy, and, I just find them more effective.I do hope that the seller of these comes up with a few differing sizes to allow for more precision in the final height adjustment. Clearly a Five Star product for my applications.

I needed to raise my couch up and these worked well. Strong and supportive.

I purchased these to raise one of my side desks up so I could fit a rolling file cart under the desk. For this is works PERFECTLY. I love the felt pads for my wood floors. My only concern is that there is not a lip at the top. I sure that is why they have the adhesive, but I would feel better about the desk getting bumped if it had a lip and the adhesive. I have not had a problem with it yet.

I purchased these for my 92yr old 6'4" neighbor whose sofa sits way too low for a person of his height.He is so happy & wonders how he ever lived without them. Mind you, He has a beautiful adult daughter, and a part time care-taker who never seemed to notice this issue... but I did :). I am looking for a square version for his chair of a different style.

Husband is 6'4"I got a table from ikea and kept getting sad watching the poor man silently hunch over at the table. I got these and it's made a world of difference for him.Have not wanted to but a new table until we move to a new place and know what style to look for. Lesson definitely learned, table height will need to be accounted for, but in the mean time, these work perfectly as expected, are sticky and don't move around. I can move the table around if I need to and not worry about any of them coming off.Overall great buy for my temporary fix. They don't look fantastic, but considering the other options, they do in a pinch

I bought these to use under my desk. I am quite tall and wanted the desk to be a little higher so that I didn't have to slouch. The risers are sturdy and pretty, and we were able to set the very solid desk on them with confidence. However, even though the four desk legs only take up a third of the space on each riser, the desk still slipped off of them. I think the reason the desk slipped off of them, is because I have thicker carpet underneath which didn't give a sturdy base. So any time I turn my chair or bumped my leg into the desk, the risers would shift a little. I think that a riser with a lip would prevent the legs from slowly slipping around on the risers.

I raised my sofa bed 2" with these risers. It's made a world of difference. They arrived ahead of time and were just as advertised. My biggest challenge was lifting the heavy sofa to install them. However, with a little ingenuity, I used my car scissors jack to lift each side. Worked like a charm!

Strong support. Paper can tear according to the areas needed to stick.

These aren't solid. Won't take much weight if places on it directly. Used for couch. Crumpled pretty quickly
